When you look around your city, you might see crime, poverty, and failing schools.

There are no easy solutions to those problems...but have you consider the possibility that your mayor isn't wearing enough chains? Because that just might be the issue in College Park, Georgia.

That's why Tauheed Epps, aka Tity Boi, aka 2 Chainz is taking matters into his own hands and running for the highest office in his hometown.

"I'm supposed to be running for mayor in College Park," Mr. Chainz recently told XXL magazine. "I got everybody wishing. I'm really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I'm just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications."

Well, he may not want to refer to it as "this little mayor thing" once he's on the campaign trail, but if the qualifications include smoking  blunts the size of baseball bats, then 2 Chainz definitely has what it takes.

We already saw his rhetorical skills at work when he debated weed legalization with Nancy Grace a couple weeks ago. If he can bring that sort of eloquence and impeccable taste in cardigans to a mayoral campaign, his opponents don't stand a chance.

Chainz' platform would reportedly include marijuana legalization (of course), reduction of budget deficits, and allowing felons to register to vote.

Sadly, 2 Chainz' campaign may be over before it even starts, as indumbent mayor Jack Longino claims the rapper doesn't actually live in Collge Park. Psssht...details.

The group responsible threatened to release nude photos, and Taylor's private messages were soon making the rounds online.

Then she remembers that she can make money in ridiculous ways like trademarking random phrases and realizes that it's totally, totally worth it.

Yes, like Paris "That's Hot" Hilton before her, Taylor doesn't want anyone making money off her catchphrases but her.

A recent filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office shows that Taylor has applied for the exclusive rights to the phrase "This Sick Beat," as well as other lines from her smash album 1989, including, "'Cause we never go out of style."

That one's a stretch, but we can understand "Beat," as Taylor's really made it her own.

Plus, if she owns it, that means we won't have to see it on t-shirts and walk around with peppy, white-girl rapping stuck in our head for the rest of the day.

You might remember Depp's drunk speech at the Hollywood Film Awards back in November.

That sloshed appearance resulted in increased scrutiny of Depp's drinking habits, which reportedly led to his fiancee Amber Heard demanding that he give up the hooch.

So it was widely reported that Depp quit drinking. But then he missed a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday, and now it's widely being reported that he relapsed. 

That's a more interesting reason than "he had a cold" or something lame like that, but it's not as good as the excuse that Depp gave for missing the event:

"I was attacked yesterday by a rarely seen or experienced animal called 'chupacabra,'" Depp told reporters. "I fought with it for hours: they're very persistent, very mean."

"I'm pretty sure it came into my suitcase. I threw him off the 23rd floor, so we;ll never see him again. Thank you for understanding."

There you have it. Johnny Depp: not drunk, just fighting off mythical, goat-eating monsters.

According to new intel on Radar Online, reports that Giudice's incarceration will get The Real Housewives of New Jersey canceled are premature.

"But filming has been loosely scheduled for late April, early May."

That would be including Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea, both of whom joined before last season, and of course Teresa Giudice, who's in jail.

The latter would be welcomed back, but is not expected to be released until 2016, and likely couldn't film anything for several months beyond that.

Courtney Love has made a disturbing, albeit not altogether shocking, admission:

She took drugs while pregnant with her daughter.

In the documentary, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck (which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival this month) the singer opens up about her long-time struggle with substance abuse, saying on camera that she used heroin "once" while expecting Frances Bean Cobain.

Most of the aforementioned movie looks into the Nirvana rocker's issues with parenting, along with his desire to be the father he never had.

There aren't images of him taking drugs on screen, though his descent into addiction becomes obviously clear.

While Love and her grown daughter have had a difficult relationship, the screening of the documentary brought them back together: they posed together for photos at the Park City, Utah festival.

Back in 2011, Love opened up to The Fix about her drug use during pregnancy, saying at the time that she had only used in the "first three weeks" when she didn't realize she was actually knocked up.

"Yes, it's true, I used heroin in the first three weeks of my pregnancy - but so f--king what!? I didn't even know I was pregnant at the time," she confessed back then.

"I also took a few puffs on a cigarette when my belly was out to here, but most of those nine months, I walked around with nicotine patches all over my body. When you have a baby inside you, you're not going to do drugs or something stupid."

In the midst of DeflateGate (or BallGhazi, if you prefer) you might have forgotten about the far more scandalous story that's taken some of the sheen off the Patriots' dominant season.

The murder trial of Aaron Hernandez began this week just days after his former team left Foxborough for Super Bowl XLIX.

The murder of Odin Lloyd - for which Hernandez is being tried - allegedly took place in June of 2013, so obviously, Hernandez hasn't had any direct association with the Patriots for quite some time.

Even so, team owner Robert Kraft must be bemoaning the unfortunate coincidence of Hernandez re-entering the headlines just as the Patriots are attempting to distance themselves from an entirely different scandal.

Today, in opening arguments, the prosecution presented damning footage that they say shows Hernandez holding the murder weapon:

It appears to be pretty open-and-shut, but legal experts say the trial may drag on for several months.

However, considering Hernandez is also accused of killing two other men, it seems unlikely that he'll ever be a free man.

Sources indicate that Patriots coach Bill Belichick is expected to testify in the trial. In the weeks before the murder, Hernandez reportedly confided to Belichick that he feared for his life, as he was attempting to cut ties with some unsavory figures.

Will she, though? Disick’s insistence on continuing his bad boy behavior is creating major tension, but it's not like that's anything new with them.

However, those days soon gave way to an epic Aspen bender, as The Lord “loves the freedom he has to go out with friends and go to parties."

According to the insider, "It’s been so liberating ... Scott’s not even thinking about going home and being with Kourtney. He's being solo right now.”

How much of this is true and how much is pure gossip?

Yesterday, Taylor Swift's Twitter account was hacked, but the man who claims to be responsible doesn't seem to be facing any sort of criminal charges.

In fact, he's been contacting various media outlets to boast about the hack and try to sell what he claims are nude photos of Swift.

Thus far, sources who have spoken with the man (identified only as "Veri") say he refuses to show the nudes as evidence but has offered several photos of Taylor's Twitter messages, such as this exchange between the singer and Lena Dunham:

It's clear that the Dunham "molestation" scandal had just taken place at the time the messages were sent, which would mean the conversation occurred in early November.

So the hacker clearly went pretty deep into Taylor's inbox. No one is questioning that he was able to access her social media accounts and that he's in possession of thousands of Taylor's personal correspondences.

However, he's almost certainly lying about the nudes.

For starters, Veri told Gawker blogger Sam Biddle that he's in negotiations to sell the photos to TMZ. Biddle points out that TMZ has a policy against publishing nude photos, even when they're available for free. Thus, it's unlikely they'd bother negotiating with Veri.

In addition, Swift has claimed that she's not in the habit of snapping nude selfies, and frankly, we believe her.

Her private life may not be as squeaky-clean as her public image, but Taylor is mature and media-savvy enough to be well aware of the dangers of someone with her level of fame posing for nudes.

As for the DMs lifted from Taylor's Twitter? We're guessing there's nothing too juicy there. As far as we can tell, Veri's made no attempt to sell them.

MTV has released the first promo for the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, which will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, April 12.

According to Anna Kendrick, at least, as the beloved actress appears opposite Schumer in the hilarious trailer, acting both very frightened and very confused by her fellow celebrity's words and actions.

Shailene Woodley has become an expert at this red carpet thing. Do you like her MTV Movie Awards outfit?

Suge Knight allegedly killed a man in a hit and run on a movie set in Compton today.

TMZ identifies the victim as Terry Carter, a friend of Knight's. Another man - an actor named Cle "Bone" Sloane - was also struck, and suffered unspecified injuries.

Sources say Knight fled the scene after striking Carter and Sloane.

The incident occurred on a set for a movie or music video. Rappers The Game, Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre were reportedly present.

Witnesses say Knight argued with two crew members before getting into his car and speeding off.

This is just the latest in a recent string of troubles for the hip hop mogul.

In October, Knight was arrested alongside comedian Katt Williams, and charged with robbery following an incident involving an aggressive paparazzo,

Prior to that, Knight was shot six times at a party hosted by troubled R&B artist Chris Brown.

Insiders claim Knight sped off from the scene because he feared a physical confrontation due to his "frail health" resulting from being shot in August.

Police have not issued a statement about today's incident, but it is believed that a warrant has been issued for Knight's arrest.

We're down to the final night of American Idol Season 14 auditions with another stint in San Francisco. Next week they'll all head to Hollywood to begin the process of elimination, boot camp style.

But first, let's see how many of tonight's contenders make it that far...

We've seen more bad auditions in San Francisco than in any other city this season, so either the home of the Golden Gate bridge isn't bringing the talent this year or the producers are holding out on us.

But we are getting a lot of Harry Connick Jr. on piano which doesn't suck.

Adanna Duru has a great stage name. Except that's her real name. I think. Growing up her brothers told her to stop singing. They're crazy. Her take on "You and I" is spectacular. Maybe even better than Gaga herself. When she hits the chorus she shouts jus a smidge, and Harry suggests she pay attention to each lyric she sings. Jennifer and Keith loved her. She's going to Hollywood.

Christopher Michael auditioned with a song he wrote while stressed out which he says he "spit out like butter." It's...terrifying. Keith loved his passion but that was it. Harry said the point was to move people and the song made him angry. They give him a no as they should. 

Malibu, California girl Hunter Larsen is lively and very spunky. And she can sing, at least for the short little audition number she chose. Jennifer called her memorable. Keith says "it was immediate" and Harry agrees. They give her a golden ticket which is great since she has a Willy Wonka tattoo on her side.

Tara Honda auditions with a throwback number and the judges tell her she makes it sound original and modern. They send her down the road to Hollywood, too.

Fun fact: Former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson is working as one of the pre-celeb judge judges deciding who gets out of the arena and into the convention center. 

Daniel Seavey has been 15 years old for 2 months, and he comes in wearing his guitar but auditions with the piano, playing and singing "Hallelujah." He's going to be a really talented guy once his voice finishes changing. After he plays the guitar, Keith asks him to play again, so he picks Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" which is probably 10 years older than he is. Maybe more. Keith wants to know what he's doing to work through his voice breaking. Jennifer says he has a really great voice and he's musically talented, but he's nervous. Harry says he has a lot of what it takes to be on American Idol but not the maturity. 

Harry gives him a no. Keith says the interesting thing about Hollywood is that people come back and sing again and maybe what they need is to see him again and gives him a yes. Jennifer's on the fence but sends him to Hollywood.

Following Daniel is a Rocky Peter whose father abandoned him, his brothers, and his mother in Nigeria after sending them back to Africa after Rocky was born. They were homeless and scavenged for food in trash cans and dumps. He returned to America and now he's here hoping his life can change. He sings an original song called "Wrong Places," and while the lyrics don't make much sense, there's a nice tone to his voice and a falsetto that will be hard to beat. Harry says he's talented and loves the lyrical choices he made. Jennifer loves his voice and said she could hear the pain in his song. Keith isn't sure that what Rocky does is compatible with Idol. 

Keith votes yes. Jennifer votes yes. Harry votes yes. 

Jaq Mackenzie is a student in Santa Monica who comes in with her guitar but decides to sing an original song and doesn't use it. She's...eh. Her song is apparently titled "You Waste My Time" and that's kind of what I'm thinking of this audition. Jennifer says she has the makings of a really great artist...one day. Harry can't decide if Hollywood would help or hurt her. Keith likes her distinct style but says she's an artist in the making. Jennifer says yes on the grounds that Jaq's an artist. Keith sends her forward with a yes, so Harry's vote doesn't even matter. But he would've said yes.

Closing out the Season 14 auditions is Tyanna Jones from Clearwater, Florida. Her family overcame homelessness with the help of their church and their pastor. Keith asks her about her journey to Idol and she talks about the flight there. She's so delightfully young and I love her. She auditions with Little Mix's "Wings" and really falls into the song when she hits the bridge. Jennifer says she's very talented. Keith asks what she's working on and she answers "pitch." Harry tells her she's extremely talented with a lot of potential. She gets a ticket to Hollywood and bursts into tears. 

The American Idol Season 14 contestants--over 200 of them--will hit the pressure cooker known as Hollywood week next Wednesday. Guess what that means:

Yesterday, Suge Knight ran over and killed a man on the set of a commercial for the upcoming NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

The victim -  a friend of Knight's named Terry Carter - died on the scene, and the notoriously violent hip hop mogul fled before authorities arrived.

Today, Knight was arrested for murder, and as more facts emerge about the investigation emerge, it looks as though the hit and run was no mere accident.

TMZ reports Suge had engaged in a shoving match with Dr. Dre's security staff earlier in the day, at a different location where the commercial was shooting.

The altercation was witnessed by some off-duty cops who ordered Knight to leave the premises.

Hours later, Carter contacted Knight to inform him that Dre would like to speak with him in order to settle their dispute.

Knight is reportedly telling police that when he arrived at the set, he was attacked by Dre's team the moment he got out of his truck.

Some sources say Knight feared for his life, as he's still in "frail health" after being shot six times in August.

Others say he was using his vehicle as a weapon, and though the death of his friend Carter may have been an accident, Knight had intended to hit someone.

One thing is for sure: If the attack on Knight was, in fact, ordered by Dre, it could result in some serious legal trouble for the rap legend...and give a whole new meaning to the term "Beats by Dre."

Marion Knight, better known as Suge (for Sugar Bear) is recovering after being shot in August 2014.

She may not have gotten that prison kitchen job she was hoping for, but that doesn't mean Teresa Giudice isn't making the most of her time behind bars.

Us Weekly reports that Teresa is working out like crazy in the big house...and she's already seeing results:

"She's getting in the best shape of her life," a source tells the tabloid. "Every night she hits the gym and she's been asking friends to send her workout videos."

Could the her desire to get jacked have anything to do with the rumors that Teresa is being targets by other inmates?

We may never know, but by the time she gets sprung, she'll probably be a more intimidating table-tossing force than ever before.

And apparently it's not just her body that Teresa is looking to improve:

"Teresa writes down everything she wants to do when she gets out," says the source. "She hopes to land the cover of a magazine and get her own cooking show."

Teresa Giudice is not gonna take any crap. Her table-flipping reputation will precede her in prison, thanks to The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 1.

As you may have heard, Michael Moore's criticism of American Sniper has pissed off plenty of very vocal patriots.

Even esteemed cultural critic and noted devil without a cause Kid Rock offered his two cents, suggesting that Moore had been molested by his uncle, for some reason.

Never one to back down from a controversy (Controversy is kinda his thing.), Moore addressed the film and its director again today on his Facebook page, and spoke for the first time about an incident that may have influenced his opinion on Sniper:

"Ten years ago this past week," Moore writes. "Clint Eastwood stood in front of the National Board of Review awards dinner and announced to me and to the crowd that he would 'kill' me if I ever came to his house with my camera for an interview."

"'I'll kill you,' he declared. The crowd laughed nervously...'I mean it,' he barked, and the audience grew more quiet. 'I'll shoot you.'"

We don't know about you, but we may have wet ourselves a bit just reading that description. From the sound of things, Clint stopped just short of asking Moore if he feels lucky, punk.

Based on the video of Eastwood yelling at invisible Obama at the 2012 RNC, we knew there was a possibility getting a bit flighty in his old age, but we didn't realize the line between his movies and his real life had disappeared entirely. 

Hopefully, Moore knows to avoid any run-ins with Clint. We'd hate to see him unwittingly cast as a slow-on-the-draw villain in The Good, the Bad, and the Overweight Documentarian. *ooo-wee-ooo-wee-ooooo*
