As he enters the final half of his second term, President Obama is inspiring very different reactions from the people he meets.

Last week, Gwyneth Paltrow flirted with Obama after apparently forgetting that she's 40 and not 14, and he's the president of the United States, not a member of One Direction.

Earlier today in Chicago, however, some dude named Mike had a very different reaction to crossing paths with the POTUS, and cautioned Obama against getting frisky with his girlfriend:

Rumors that Kylie Jenner is dating Tyga have been circulating for weeks now. Both parties have denied it, because Kylie is 17, Tyga is 24, and he probably wants to stay out of prison.

Yesterday, Jaden Smith dropped a weird rap song online that seemed to be about his rumored on, off relationship with Kylie.

The fact that Kylie is in the video and the song contains lyrics about making "your man jealous" seem to indicate that Kylie is playing the field with both Tyga and Jaden. (Those Kardashian-Jenner girls love their rappers!)

Today, however, matriarch/momager Kris Jenner attempted to clear the air and convince the world that Kylie is 100% single:

Yes, Kris is promoting a cookbook these days, so naturally, she found a way to steer the conversation back to how awesome she is in the kitchen.

A shooting at the Canadian parliament building in Ottawa has claimed at least one life, police report.

Ottawa police confirmed that gunmen opened fire at war monument then ran for the Parliament building, sending bystanders and members of parliament running for safety.

The victim who died has yet to be publicly identified, but it's been reported that he was a soldier standing guard at the monument.

"Condolences to the soldier killed and prayers to the Parliamentary guard wounded," read a tweet from military spokesman Jason Kenney. "Canada will not be terrorized or intimidated."

At least three other victims have been admitted to nearby hospitals. Doctors have reported that two of the victims are currently in stable condition. 

One of the gunman has been killed, and police are reportedly on the hunt for at least two other shooters.

This is the first such incident to take place in Canada in recent history.

The United States, however, has been plagued by shootings in public areas, and police believe the shooters in this case may have been inspired by the recent rash of gun violence in the US.

Most recently, the Reynolds High School shooting in Oregon left one student dead. A man named Eliot Rodger opened fire near the UC Santa Barbara campus in Southern California just weeks prior to the Reynolds tragedy.

Jana Duggar, the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame, isn’t getting married or being courted, as we know.

As a result, she doesn't get nearly as much camera time as Jessa or Jill Duggar when you watch 19 Kids and Counting online, adding to the intrigue.

Many 19 Kids fans can't believe that the lovely, sweet and kind Jana Duggar isn't starting a family of her own, or even in the market to do so apparently.

Halbur claims that she needs more help financially and isn't getting it.

“Adam only sees Paislee a few days a month at most and now Paislee has more needs,” the source said. “It would be nice of Adam to put in some help."

Lind allegedly has never offered his ex-girlfriend any money. Given their on-and-off relationship, Halbur let it slide in the past, but now she’s going after him.

“Adam has never paid Taylor any child support since Paislee was born,” the source claims. “Originally, the court had requested that Adam pay $550 a month."

"Taylor never saw that money, and she never followed through with getting Adam to pay because they were still in a relationship on and off,” the source said.

“But now that they are not together, it’s about time Adam helps out.”

Not as he sees it. Another source says “Adam is threatening to take Taylor to court to try and get full custody of Paislee just [so] he doesn’t [have to pay] support."

Speaking to Us Weekly at the ASPCA Cocktail Event yesterday, the Teen Wolf star confessed to this unfortunate change in his personal life.

The singer - who bulked up for his role as an MMA fighter on the DirecTV series Kingdom - tells the publication that he “gained about 15 pounds of muscle" for the role.

"Diet had a lot to do with it," Jonas explains. "I went from consuming about 3,000 calories a day to 4,200… Breakfast was usually an omelet with veggies and cashew cheese, a turkey-meat patty, and some fruit; lunch and dinner would be lean protein, veggies, and nuts; snacks consisted of things like snap peas with peanut sauce."

Jonas has type 1 diabetes, however, so he does have to be a bit careful about what he consumes.

"I wasn't drinking at all while I was training for the show, but now that we're done, I keep it classy with Coors Light," he says.

Jonas does three workout sessions per day while filming (Kingdom has been picked up for Season 2), but he takes a break in the off-season.

"I'm not the kind of person who wakes up in the morning and can't wait to work out," he admits. "I kind of dread it, actually. I see it as a necessary evil."

How can Nick Jonas get even sexier? The star says he's not adverse to showing his penis at some point.
