As she prepares to give birth to her second child, the always-popular Kate Middleton is somehow more beloved than ever.

It was announced this week that Kate will visit Downton Abbey, and the news created so much excitement that the women of Great Britain basically dissolved into puddles of weak tea and Worcester sauce.

Of course, the Duchess of Cambridge doesn't have to hang out with the Crawleys in order to delight her subjects.

Kate sported a visible baby bump and new hairstyle during a recent public appearance, and many Brits reacted as though Famous Cricket Team had finally triumphed over Famous Rival Cricket Team.

What we're saying is, Kate is almost universally beloved in the UK...but a new report claims she doesn't have to look very far to find a hater.

An insider at the Daily Mail claims that William's father, Prince Charles, has become increasingly upset with Kate and her family's growing influence over life at Anmer Hall - a phenomenon he has dubbed, "The March of the Middletons."

The main problem? Kate and her mother have reportedly insisted that Charles and young Prince George have as little interaction as possible.

"They never let me see my grandson," Charles reportedly complained to a friend recently. "[Kate's mother] Carole has rather taken over, dictating when George naps, when and what he eats. All in all, behaving like she's Queen Carole."

Charles is clearly blaming the Middletons for his all of his familial woes, but it's possible that the real problem lies even closer to home.

Reports of feuding between Charles and Prince William have been around for quite some time, and a new documentary claims that over the years, Charles has strategically leaked information about his eldest son to the press as a means of keeping him in line.

We'll almost certainly never know for sure how relations stand between Charles and Kate and William, but from the sound of it, whatever's happening behind palace walls is enough to make the most dramatic episode of Downton Abbey look like a stale crumpet by comparison.
