Rob Kardashian Thinks Kim is Kris Jenner's Favorite, Source Says

As the feud between Rob and Kim Kardashian continues to heat up, more theories are emerging as to what caused Rob to fire the first shot.

As you've probably heard, Rob compared Kim to "the b-tch from Gone Girl" in an alarming Instagram post that he has yet to delete. (It's currently the only post on his page.)

It was clearly an act of war, and it seemed to come out of left field. Just a week earlier, Rob turned 28 and all of his sisters (including Kim) posted fond birthday wishes on social media.

So what set Rob off? Well, sources say the bad blood between him and Kim has been bubbling just beneath the surface for years, and as is so often the case with sibling rivalries, it can be traced back to their mother. 

"Whenever Kim gets mad at one of her siblings for not showing up at one of her events or gets in an argument with someone, momager Kris is always dispatched to smooth things over," a source tells Radar Online.

"Kris is the ultimate puppet in Kim's world according to Rob. Kris is at Kim's beck and call, and she goes to great lengths to make sure Kim's world is perfect. 

"The times that Kris does spend with her other adult children, Kim gets very jealous and will find a way to get her mother to do something for her. Rob refuses to play by those rules anymore."

Yeah, we can imagine it's pretty annoying to have the entire world kissing your sister's sizable ass and then have to watch your own mother get in on the act too.

Of course, all those rumors about Kim making fun of Rob's weight probably didn't do much to help their relationship, either.

Snoop Dogg Roasts Justin Bieber: You Should Be Aborted!

We tried to tell you that nothing was off limits at the Justin Bieber Roast taping.

It took place earlier this month and it will air on Comedy Central this Monday, but the network has released a new sneak peek at the insult-based festivities.

In this clip, none other than Snoop Dogg is on stage, taking aim at Bieber, his mother, her decision not to abort him as a fetus and also at Usher's skin color.

Bieber, of course, has been attempting to turn his reputation around for weeks now.

Comedy Central producers say he contacted them about the upcoming Roast because he wanted to prove to folks that he can make fun of himself.

Since the special was announced, Bieber has begged Seth Rogen to show up and slam him, while mocking various scandals from his past, such as when he egged his neighbor's house in early 2014.

That wasn't exactly Justin's best decision ever.

But, based on the following excerpts from his Roast, the past year or so may totally end up being worthwhile. At least from a comedian's perspective...

Kim Kardashian has over 28 million Instagram followers. Whatever you think of that astounding figure, it makes her a popular figure by any measure.

And she has advice for anyone looking to match her popularity: Make a sex tape!!!

No, wait. That's not it. But she does get into her secrets to social media success ...

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Kim has offered up five steps that will help you achieve Instagram greatness (prepare to roll your eyes, and HARD):

  1. BE SPONTANEOUS. I don't plan it out. If I'm feeling good about myself, and I like my outfit or hair and makeup or contouring, I will share it.
  2. DO IT YOURSELF. I don't have help. No one else runs my social media. It's whatever I feel like posting. From collages and screen grabs and cropping, it's a whole process.
  3. BE A SPY. I want to know what's going on in [my sisters'] lives. I can look on Instagram and be comforted in knowing where Kendall is. [Editor's Note: Kendall Jenner is likely just taking her clothes off somewhere, Kim.]
  4. DO NOT PEDDLE PRODUCTS. I try really hard not to promote products... I was obsessed with these waist shapers after I had a baby, so I would put those up... Some people post a couple times a day to promote their products, but I won't. [Editor's Note: LOL!!!!!!!!!!]
  5. USE YOUR OWN WORDS. I don't like it when people post quotes all the time.

Ouch! Some see that last point as a diss of sister Khloe Kardashian, who is always posting the words of others.

As recently as March 19, Khloe quoted poet R.M. Drake when sharing the following words of wisdom:

"Maybe we feel empty because we leave pieces of ourselves in everything we used to love."

Deep, deep thoughts. Much more so than some of these quotes at least ...

If you haven't been online today and you're wondering why the wailing of heartbroken teenage girls is piercing the air, allow us to be the first to inform you:

 Zayn Malik has quit One Direction.

If you were standing and reading that on some sort of mobile device, we hope you didn't incur any sort of major head wound when you collapsed. If you did, please have it treated immediately.

As with the Kennedy assassination or the return of BK's Chicken Fries, all of us will remember where we were when we first heard the news.

As the minutes turn into hours, it becomes more and more clear that Zayn's decision is final and there's nothing for the members of the human race to do, but band together, support one another, and laugh at the millions of 1D fans currently freaking the f--k out on Twitter:

You might be thinking didn't Zayn already quit the One Direction tour last week? Haven't rumors of a One Direction breakup been circulating for years? Wasn't the news somewhat expected?

The answer to all those questions is "yes," but if you think that matters, you clearly never tried to rationalize with an wound-up teenage girl.

It's very possible that you don't know "Story of My Life" from "Night Changes," and you couldn't give two stylish ponytails about Zayn leaving the band.

If that's the case, then we implore you to keep those feelings to yourself if you share a household with any women between the ages of 11 and 16. 

You'll thank us when you're not having your skull cracked open by a fireplace poker. Be careful out there.

Lil Wayne and Christina Milian are totally together. The duo stepped out in public holding hands for the first time since rumors of their romance began.

We've heard numerous reports that Lil Wayne and Christina Milian were a thing for awhile, but now the rumors of the two hitting it seem to be confirmed.

Weezy and Chreezy (maybe?) were seen leaving a movie set hand in hand Tuesday, something the celebrity duo had yet to do out in the open prior to that.

We know. it's pretty epic.

No word on whether Drake will be making a move on Milian if and when Weezy gets locked up again, then brag about it, but we wouldn't put it past him.

The Lil rapper has four baby mamas, Nivea, Toya Wright, Lauren London and Sarah Vivan. Christina has one son by her former husband The-Dream.

She's apparently moved onto The-Boss. Christina is signed to Wayne's Young Money record label, and apparently she's sleeping her way to the top.

Whether she's using him or not, the fact remains, Wayne is the mega-millionaire shot-caller and she's one of many artists in his roster. We're just saying.

Liam Payne Jokes About Zayn Malik Departure, Tells Fans to "Chill Out"

Liam Payne should know better: One Direction fans are not in a joking mood at the moment.

Just hours after Zayn Malik quit the group, sending followers into a frantic online tizzy, Payne posted a photo of himself, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson posing with fans while on tour.

As you can see, the face of a certain ex-member is being covered up by Payne's hand in the image:

Liam must have sensed this move would hit a nerve because he wrote as a caption to the picture: "#makinglightofasituation sorry for the laughs guys."

And then once it was clear One Direction fans really were upset over the perceived Zayn Malik slight, Payne followed up on Twitter with:

"Some people can't take a joke ... Bit of banter guys chill out."

It's just too soon, Liam. Way too soon.

Fans need time to process Malik's departure, which comes on the heels of Perrie Edwards cheating rumors and which Malik confirmed via the following statement:

My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band.

I'd like to apologize to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall.

I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.

Usually, when LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville are in the same headline, it means one of them threw some amusing shade in the other's direction.

Last time we checked in on these two, Brandi revealed that she and LeAnn were both banging Eddie Cibrian at the same time. Now that's shade!

It's been years since LeAnn stole Eddie from Brandi, but the destruction of a marriage isn't something you ever really get over, so any trash Brandi wants to talk is pretty much completely justified.

But at the end of the day, Brandi gets to bang guys half her age, while LeAnn is stuck with her washed-up, philandering ex.

So Brandi's decided she should probably forgive and take pity on LeAnn. And all it took was a German plane crash to make her realize it. 

Allow us to explain. A Germanwings flight crashed in France yesterday, killing all 148 passengers aboard.

It's been a bad year for air travel, and frequent flyers around the world are understandably feeling a bit more anxious than usual these days.

So it's not surprising when Brandi says she's taken up the habit of saying a little prayer before take-off. What is surprising is that she asks the man upstairs to look after Mrs. Rimes-Cibrian herself.

"After today's air tragedy, I was on a plane taking off, saying my 'flight prayer,'" Brandi tweeted yesterday. "I never took my ex out of it, and today, I added his wife #Progress"

Progress, indeed. After all, it's one thing to pray for somebody, but giving them a shout-out on Twitter when you have as many followers as Brandi? Well, that's some next-level shiz. #Respect

Jeremy Renner Threatened By Sonni Pacheco: Green Card-Seeking Wife Threatens to Leak Racy Videos!

Jeremy Renner and estranged wife Sonni Pacheco were already in the midst of the one of the uglier celebrity splits and custody battles in recent memory.

It just got even nastier, too. According to new legal documents filed by the actor, Pacheco tried to extort him by threatening to leak intimate videos.

Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco split up in December, and he says she's threatened him not to renege on his promise to help her get a green card.

Renner claims she has admitted repeatedly to marrying him for a green card and financial stability, and is willing to go to extreme lengths to get both.

Should he fail to pony up ample child support and do what he can to keep her in the U.S., she supposedly told her roommate, she'll leak the videos.

Of what, it's not clear, but what's deniable is that Renner is in the middle of a bitter child custody fight just months after their secret marriage was revealed.

Their nearly two-year-old daughter Ava is caught in the middle of Sonni Pacheco's quest for primary custody and more than $13,000 a month in child support.

Jeremy, who has been sharing custody 50-50 since they split up in December, says there have been plenty of cases of bad parenting on her part.

The worst? Allegedly, she left Ava home last year for 15 minutes, taking an Uber to a party and not checking to see if someone was home to watch her.

Her roommate also filed a declaration stating that Sonni smokes and drinks and stopped breastfeeding because she felt guilty about drinking alcohol.

Sonni also allegedly did coke on vacation right after Ava was born. She has not yet responded to Renner's latest legal salvo, but if all that's true ... wow.

Emilia Clarke Talks Turning Down Fifty Shades of Grey: No More Nudity For Me!

When it comes to Emilia Clarke's acting career, she would like to be the one holding the whips and muzzles, thank you very much. 

The Game of Thrones star has been voted the "most desirable woman in the world" by AskMen, but it seems our days of seeing the the Mother of Dragons in nothing but a blonde wig and a smile are as well done as Khal Drogo.

Way back in 2013, there were rumors of Clarke starring in Fifty Shades of Grey, and in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress admits that she did meet with producers, but she turned the role down for the same reason that we won't be seeing the Khaleesi strip down on the new season of GoT:

Emilia Clarke is simply done with onscreen nudity.

"I'd done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again," says Clarke, adding that she has "no regrets" about passing on the role of Anastasia Steele.

That's all well and good (we guess), but Emilia has said she'd like to do a cameo on Girls at some point. Has she seen that show? She'll almost have to get naked!

Anyway, guess Emilia's new boyfriend, Jai Courtney, will be the only one seeing her naked from here on out. It's basically the biggest tragedy since Ned Stark lost his head at King's Landing.

Robert Durst Connected to Another Disappearance; Ex-Girlfriend Reveals Pattern of Bizarre Behavior

It's been nearly two weeks since Robert Durst was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman, but new stories of his bizarre and - in some cases - highly suspicious behavior continue to emerge daily.

Last week, we learned that Durst may have practiced killing by slaughtering his own pet dogs. 

Shortly thereafter, the judge who presided over the real estate heir's 2003 murder trial revealed that she believes Durst left a cat's head on her doorstep after he'd been found not guilty.

Of course, these allegations are nothing compared to the atrocities that Durst is accused of committing against humans.

He's been a person of interest in no fewer than three murder investigations, and now police are investigating a possible link between Durst and a fourth disappearance - this one more than 40 years old.

In 1971, Durst and his then-girlfriend Kathleen McCormack (whom Durst was later suspected of murdering) owned a health food store in the town of Middlebury, Vermont.

That same year, an 18-year-old college freshman named Lynn Schulze disappeared. The case has never been solved, and state police say that in 2012, a tipster informed them that Durst may have been involved in the Schulze case.

Middlebury Police Chief Tom Hanley told reporters today that he is not yet ready to call Durst a suspect, but the 71-year-old possible triple-murderer is being investigated.

In other Durst news, a woman named Linda Walker Zevallos says that she dated Durst briefly in 2000, and things quickly turned sour.

Not surprisingly, she reports that the relationship didn't last long due to Durst's bizarre and often frightening behavior.

Zevallos says she began to grow concerned the first time she visited Durst's sparsely-furnished apartment and saw that he kept a large saw in the living room.

The final straw came when Durst drove Zevallos and her 13-year-old son, Matthew, to dinner one night.

"He said, 'Oh, I forgot. I've got two guns in the backseat. So Michael, don't touch the guns,'" Zevallos recalls. "I was absolutely shocked."

Durst is currently in prison in Louisiana, awaiting trial on the Berman murder and a variety of other charges.

Taylor Swift: Contacting John Mayer Following His Split From Katy Perry?

Last week, in news that surprised absolutely no one, Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up for roughly the 4 millionth time. 

You may recall that Mayer and Taylor Swift once dated and that Katy and Taylor hate each other. Thus, it would be the perfect time for Taylor to swoop in and devastate Katy's world just by engaging in a little ex-sex with Mayer.

So we were pretty excited when we first learned that Taylor has, in fact, been in contact with John. (Nothing against Katy, we just think Taylor going nuclear would be fun to watch.)

Sadly, it seems that Swifty has been texting Mayer for purely professional reasons. Boooring!

"She's reached out to him to do a duet," a source tells In Touch.

Still pretty weird, considering Taylor once dissed Mayer in song form, but we guess it's not as awkward as a booty call would've been.

So yeah, it looks like those of us hoping for an epic conclusion to that the great Taylor Swift-Katy Perry feud of '15 will have to wait a little longer.

We're hoping for either a rap battle, or for Katy to go after one of Taylor's famous exes. We hate to say it, but she's got plenty to choose from.

By now you've likely heard the news that his devastated millions of stylish-stubble-loving teenage girls across the globe:

Zayn Malik has quit One Direction.

Malik has given no explanation for his departure, but there's little he could say at this point that would serve as any consolation to 1D's legion of obsessive fans.

After all, the group is now down to four members, and no British boy band can thrive without a fifth, as that has never happened, ever.

Still, it would be nice to have some closure on Zayn-gate. Did Malik really quit because of stress, as his management team has claimed? 

Or, did Zayn prove himself to be the most perfect boy band heartthrob of all time by throwing it all away in the name of love, girl?

Many fans believe Zayn called it quits due to the fact that he was allegedly caught cheating on Perrie Edwards, his fiancee of two years. 

Fans always look for a Yoko to blame when their favorite band splits up, but in this case, it's not just Directioners who are pointing the finger at poor Perrie.

UK X-Factor judge and former boy band manager Louis Walsh gave an interview today in which he suggested that Perrie is to blame for Zayn's decision. 

"As they get girlfriends, the girlfriends are whispering in their ears," Walsh said. "They're saying things like, 'You should be a solo star,' 'You should be the lead singer.' That's usually the problem...Happens in every band in the whole world."

He added, "Dames, amirite?!"

Okay, we may have made that last part up, but those are still some bold words, Louis. We hope know that when Perrie is inevitably torn limb-from-limb by enraged Directioners, the blood is on your hands.

Heather Hironimus, Florida Mom, Refuses Court-Ordered Circumcision of Son, Goes on the Run

Florida mom Heather Hironimus is currently a fugitive from justice after she refused to submit to a judge's order that her four-year-old son be circumcised.

Last week, a Palm Beach County judge reportedly ordered Hironimus to hand over the boy for the increasingly controversial procedure. She declined.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest, and her whereabouts are unknown.

The woman's attorneys say she and her son have checked into a domestic violence crisis shelter because the youngster is "terrified" of the circumcision.

"The child is scared to death of the procedure and doesn't want it," attorney Thomas Hunker said, according to South Florida's Sun-Sentinel newspaper.

Hunker said "there have been no safeguards put in place to protect the child's psychological and emotional condition with regards to this surgery."

The obvious question on everybody's mind: How did it reach the point where the minor, whose name is Chase, was thrust into the national spotlight?

Hironimus and the boy's father, Dennis Nebus, squared off in court over the issue last month, according to media reports, and the judge took his side.

While Hironimus and Nebus once agreed to have Chase circumcised, Heather changed her mind and has been battling his estranged father over it.

Supporters of Heather's contend that circumcision is a barbaric practice that Chase shouldn't have to endure (or at least that he should get to decide).

One group founded on behalf of her plight, called Chase's Guardians, helped raise more than $35,000 online to pay for Hironimus' attorneys' fees.

“We feel like this is our son,” Amber Baxley, founder of Chase’s Guardians, said. “We’re fighting tooth-and-nail against this abhorrent, disgusting decision.”

Circumcision has become a polarizing and hotly-debated issue in recent years, and this is not the first case involving it to make national headlines.

Most of the children involved were anonymous, however. Hironimus and her backers have (they claim out of necessity) made Chase a cause celebre.

The mom's lawyers have requested that a mental evaluation be done on Chase to see if he's mentally and emotionally capable of enduring a circumcision.

Just how common is the medical practice? It depends who you ask, but it's clearly favored more by select people and in select places than others.

Only about a third of all men across the world are circumcised, according to World Health Organization research, most often for non-medical reasons.

Whether you agree with having it done or not, it seems pretty crazy that the boy and his mother could be ordered to do so by a judge, doesn't it?

Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos: It's Over!

Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos are over. The couple called things off after a year of dating, the 24-year-old British singer-songwriter has confirmed.

Sheeran told an Australian radio station that he is newly single, following speculation he and Athina had split up after the 2015 BRIT Awards last month.

"I wasn't single, I was in a relationship for a long time," Ed said, but he is on the market now, having parted ways with the 23-year-old Athina recently.

What happened? An argument at a BRIT Awards after-party last month was said to be the catalyst, or the final straw. A source told Heat magazine: "

"The final straw was at the after-party. It was a combination of Ed drinking too much and him being unable to deal with a girl that kept bothering them that night."

"The next day, when Athina drove Ed to the airport, they spoke about everything and decided to take a break because it was unfair on both of them.

"It wasn't to do with his fame," says the alleged insider, "it's just how he would deal with other people - girls - wanting to talk to him on nights out."

Asked about Athina, who works as a Food Team production assistant at The Jamie Oliver Group, Ed seemed caught off guard, but confirmed the split.

Ed had previously dated Ellie Goulding, though their relationship ended badly when she allegedly cheated on him with Niall Horan from One Direction.

His hit "Don't" is believed to be about Ellie, though Sheeran has never gone on record saying that Goulding was the inspiration for the burn of a song.

There have also been rumors of a romance between Sheeran and his friend Taylor Swift, with whom he is quite close, but both say they're just friends.

Zayn Malik: FIRED From One Direction Due to Drug and Alcohol Use?!

It's only been one day since Zayn Malik quit One Direction, but fan theories as to why the fan-favorite pop star chose to part ways the group that made him famous are everywhere on the Internet.

Zayn loyalists believe his management's explanation that Malik quit due to stress. Others blame Zayn's fiancee, Perrie Edwards, claiming that she convinced him to call it quits so that he could focus on their relationship.

Now, a new theory is emerging that's sure to enrage the millions of Directioners who counted Zayn as their fave.

Radar Online is reporting that sources connected to the band have revealed that Zayn was actually fired as a result of his escalating bad behavior:

"Zayn's alcohol and drug use became a huge problem," one insider claims, adding that Malik was eventually given an ultimatum: sober up, or hit the road.

"He chose not to get clean and that is when they parted ways," the source claims. "They gave him every opportunity to clean up his act, but he just couldn't do it."

Malik's alleged drug use first came under scrutiny last year when video of Zayn and Louis Tomlinson smoking a joint leaked online.

Months later, another Zayn substance abuse scandal erupted when Matt Lauer questioned the rest of the band about his absence during an appearance on Today. 

"He's in bad shape, which is the real reason he went home to London," says the anonymous insider. "He's been going down fast and it was decided that an intervention was needed. 

"It was decided that it was best for him to go home and take care of him for right now."

That explanation might never be confirmed, but one thing is for sure - the many zealous fans who have already reacted to Zayn's departure on Twitterwill likely have an opinion or two about this latest allegation.

Adam Lind: ARRESTED For Failure to Pay Child Support!

Troubled Teen Mom 2 "star" and professional baby daddy Adam Lind was reportedly arrested this week after missing several child support payments.

A spokesperson for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department in South Dakota says Lind was released from custody after forking over $874 to Taylor Halbur.

That would be the mother of his second child, Paislee.

Halbur took Lind to court last year for falling several months behind on his payments, and we'd be hopeful that a few hours behind bars might have helped teach him a lesson.

Doubtful. After all, Lind was jailed for his third DUI shortly before Halbur gave birth, and he crashed a car while driving recklessly just a few months later.

Of course, Adam isn't famous for his idiotic behavior or his relationship to Halbur.

No, you probably know him best for knocking up Teen Mom 2 cast member Chelsea Houska and proceeding to do his best to ruin her life year after year.

Fortunately, these days, Houska and Halbur have joined forces, and they seem intent on ensuring that Lind winds up behind bars and away from their kids. 

That shouldn't be too difficult. At 23, Lind has rap sheet longer than most aging Mafia hitmen, and we doubt he can afford the same kind of legal representation.

Andreas Lubitz, Germanwings Co-Pilot, Wanted to "Destroy" Plane on Purpose, Investigators Believe

Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings flight that crashed into the Alps this week, set out to destroy the plane on purpose, officials believe.

Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin, citing "black box" recordings, said Lubitz was alone in the cockpit when the Germanwings plane crashed, killing 148.

He intentionally started the fatal descent while the pilot was locked out, and there was "absolute silence in the cockpit" as the pilot fought to re-enter.

Robin said "the most plausible interpretation" for this turn of events was that the co-pilot had deliberately barred the pilot from re-entering the cockpit.

Robin said, "We hear the pilot ask the co-pilot to take control of the plane and we hear at the same time the sound of a seat moving backwards and the sound of a door closing."

He said the pilot, named in the German media as Patrick S., had probably gone to the toilet, and "at that moment, the co-pilot is controlling the plane by himself."

"While he is alone, the co-pilot presses the buttons of the flight monitoring system to put into action the descent of the airplane. He operated this button for a reason we don't know yet."

"It appears that the reason was to destroy this plane."

Lubitz was alive until impact, the prosecutor said.

Air traffic controllers made repeated, failed attempts to contact the aircraft, upon which passengers could be heard screaming just before the crash.

So who is Andreas Lubitz and why would he do this? Details are emerging of the German co-pilot's past, although his apparent motives are a mystery.

Lubitz, 28, had undergone intensive training and "was 100 percent fit to fly without any caveats", according to Carsten Spohr, the head of Lufthansa.

The German carrier, which owns Germanwings, says his training was briefly halted six years ago, but "the suitability of the candidate was re-established."

German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters that the co-pilot's apparent actions had given the tragedy a "new, simply incomprehensible dimension."

The Airbus 320 from Barcelona, Spain to Duesseldorf, Germany, hit a mountain in France, killing all passengers and crew on board earlier this week.

Official have said that the co-pilot was "not known by us" to have any links to extremism or terrorism, though the thorough investigation will continue.

Malik Yoba: I Wasn't Fired From Empire For Drug Use! Rogue Bloggers Lie!

Actor Malik Yoba adamantly denies he was fired from Empire for drug use and wants an apology from the "rogue" blogger who first spread that fast-growing rumor.

Major spoiler alert: Don't watch the videos or continue reading until you watch Empire online and relive the epic first season that just ended on FOX.

Now that you've been forewarned: Malik's character Vernon dies on the finale, which was quickly followed by rumors that producers wanted him gone.

Reports of Yoba abusing drugs and getting fired from the hit show spread like wildfire, but the 47-year-old actor says he doesn't use ... and never has.

After calling out a Thailand blog for concocting the bogus story, he joked that he probably should've won an Emmy for Empire Season 2 Episode 10.

In that installment, Vernon is reeling from recent events, and begins snorting coke and drinking, looking and acting increasingly under the influence.

It's not art imitating life, though. Just art. Yoba says anyone who worked with him on Empire or at any other point in his 25-year career can attest.

Empire creator Lee Daniels reached out to him and had his back when the rumor began spreading, he says, and any other colleague would as well.

Malik tells TMZ that he spent time and money finding the guy who started the firestorm, and that he promised to post a retraction, which he did earlier today.

So in the end ... Vernon is still dead. Which sucks for Yoba, as the show is insanely popular. But it was simply for creative reasons, not for anything Malik did.

We wish him the best ... and wonder where his demise will rank among some of these other infamous, noteworthy TV character deaths in recent memory:

If you've been anywhere near the Internet for the past two weeks then you're well aware of how psyched Game of Thrones fans are about the fact that winter is coming.

Meanwhile, a smaller and far less vocal group is equally excited about the return of January.

We're talking about January Jones, who will reprise her role as Betty Draper when the final episodes of Mad Men begin airing on AMC April 5.

We apologize for the awful name pun, but we're sure you'll forgive us when you see her pictorial for Violet Grey magazine that we've compiled for your viewing enjoyment. (Pro tip: Keep clicking. She's naked in one of them.)

Remarkably, this isn't the first time that January has gone nude for Violet Grey. It seems to be a sort of Mad Men pre-premiere tradition, which makes us long for more seasons just as much as our fear of parting ways with Peggy Olson and Roger Sterling.

Of course, the dark cloud hanging over this year's return to 1960's Madison Avenue is the news that Jon Hamm was treated for alcohol addiction in an unfortunate case of life imitating art.

It's been the pink elephant in the room during all Mad Men discussions this week, but we think it's best to focus on the fact that Hamm has sought treatment and will no longer be triggered by Dick Whitman's heavy boozing.

Mad Men is coming to an end, but we still have seven more episodes. January Jones isn't naked for the last time; she's naked for the first time this year. The whiskey glass isn't half-empty; it's half-full!

Just a couple weeks after Kim Kardashian went blonde while attending Paris Fashion Week (crazy, platinum, Draco Malfoy-like blonde, we should say), the reality star has dyed her hair back dark once again.

She was spotted out in Los Angles today, holding daughter North West and rocking some brown locks.

According to E! News, celebrity stylist Lorri Goddard was responsible for both recent dye jobs, while Kardashian actually has a personal reason for making another switch.

"She goes to Armenia next week and wanted to be a brunette for Armenia," a source says. "She really did it just for Paris fashion week and that's over so she figured now it was time to go back to normal."

Kim has been whining on Instagram for a little while now that being blonde is a "full time job." (Though it's about time she actually got a job, right?!?)

So she's been pretty open about blonde having been a temporary look, one that managed to keep her in the spotlight and likely made her some money on the side somehow.
