Hope for the best and plan for the worst.
It's an old adage and it's one that applied to April and Jackson Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 10, as they awaited tests on their baby to determine if he had the really bad form of brittle bone disease or not.
April didn’t even want to consider the possibility that her child has Type 2 OI, but she was later forced to tell Jackson that she would not terminate the pregnancy if he did.
April’s mom eventually arrived and took her daughter to church, telling April that the matter is between her and her God, not her and her husband.
This sparked a major argument with Jackson.
"I don’t know anything except that I’m scared and sad and alone… and the louder you get, the more terrified I become," April cried at Jackson, as those who watch Grey's Anatomy online will see Sarah Drew at her absolute best,
The screen faded to black prior to Dr. Herman sharing the test results, but did you stay tuned for the Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 11 teaser? Things don't look good.
Elsewhere, Owen and Callie ended up at the same bar as a tech rep, with Callie prodding her pal to get back in the saddle and… well… “she’s got a nice saddle.”
However, after Callie tried to put in a good word for Owen, she learned that she wasn’t in the hunt for anyone like Dr. Hunt; i.e. anyone with a penis.
Did Callie want to have a one-night stand instead? Nope. She turned this woman down and her and Owen were forced to wonder if they'd ever be happy again.
Meredith, meanwhile, spent the hour trying NOT to miss Derek. She cuddled with Zola. She lectured Alex on what to do if she texts if he’s getting it on with Jo. She battled a huge tumor on a 3D printer.
Eventually, though, Mer was forced to admit that her “bed feels lonely.” This prompted Maggie to admit she may be “too good at being alone” and it gave the sisters a chance to bond.
What did you think of this installment, Grey's Anatomy fans? Is there any hope for Dr. Herman? Is there any hope for April and Jackson's baby? And what would you possibly do in their position? Talk about an impossible choice, huh?
