Bonnie Bennett celebrated a birthday on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 13.
Although celebrate may not exactly be the proper word choice here... considering she tried to kill herself and everything.
Indeed, Damon, Elena and Jeremy were able to talk Kai into using a spell that transported them back to 1994. Once there, they saw what Bonnie planned to do - and they were determined to stop her.
Oh, why would Kai help them?
In a fun, unexpected twist, he absorbed some of Luke's personality traits, including the feeling of empathy. The all-powerful witch even gets pools of water in his eyes sometimes now. He's very confused by this.
But Kai wasn't strong enough to send all three heroes back to 1994 in order to send Bonnie a message about how she can travel to Nova Scotia to use the blood of Qetsiyah as a magic source to come back home.
So Jeremy went back alone.
He actually helped save Bonnie's life by opening a garage door as she was trying to off herself via the exhaust of a car (think of the movie Ghost and how Patrick Swayze could sometimes touch things), but not before he witnessed her farewell message to him on a video camera.
It talked about living life with no regrets and it inspired Jeremy to apply for art school.
Bonnie, meanwhile, found the atlas with Nova Scotia circled and ended the episode by starting off on a road trip.
ELSEWHERE:
- Liv tried to kill Kai because he killed Luke. She almost ruined the whole send-Jeremy-back-to-1994 thing as a result.
- Tyler then dumped her because she used a spell to knock him out in order to try and kill Kai, which Tyler was strongly against.
- Elena also wanted to live life to the fullest and basically jumped Damon's bones.
- As you'll see when you watch The Vampire Diaries online, Caroline and Stefan bonded big time after the latter helped the former get out some of her bottled up anger.
- And Enzo vowed to make Sarah Salvatore do some very bad things before begging to be turned into a vampire. Odd scheme, we must say.
What did everyone think of this installment? Do you wish Bonnie had gone through with it. Are you glad Delena is fully back on?
And will you miss Jeremy when he leaves on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 14 next week?
