It is all over for Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook.
After three years together, the actress and her fiancé have called off their wedding and split from each other entirely.
Us Weekly broke the sad news, publishing a picture of Olsen at a farmer’s market in Studio City without her engagement ring on.
Olsen and Holbrook got romantically together in 2012 after they met on the set of the movie Very Good Girls, which co-starred Dakota Fanning and Demi Moore.
"There was great chemistry there," an insider told the aforementioned magazine at the time. "She really likes him!"
Last March, two weeks after sister Mary-Kate Olsen agreed to marry Olivier Sarkozy, Elizabeth accepted Holbrook’s proposal.
As recently as this past June, Olsen gushed over her impending wedding in an interview with Marie Claire UK, saying she’s “excited and planning ideas," while adding:
"I love being in a relationship a lot."
It's unclear what prompted this break-up, but Olsen won't have much time to mourn: the young actress has a role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which hits theaters in May.
