And then there were two and only two.
With Jax having been eliminated in the opening moments, Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani went head to head (and vocal cord to vocal cord) on the May 12, 2015 edition of American Idol.
Each hopeful sang three tracks: a potential Coronation Song; a selection by producer Simon Fuller; and a single they ran back after a previous successful performance.
Who shined the brightest? Who will take home the Season 14 title? (Did Jax get shafted?) Check out all six performances below and sound off now!
1. Nick Fradiani - "Beautiful Life"

Nick Fradiani has advanced all the way to the final two on American Idol Season 14. And he brought the emotional power on this Coronation Song, "Beautiful Life."
2. Nick Fradiani - "Bright Lights," Take 2

This is Nick Fradiani's jam! The American Idol finalist proved for the second time on the Season 14 penultimate episode that he knows his way around Matchbox 20.
3. Nick Fradiani - "I Won't Give Up"

Simon Fuller selected this Jason Mraz song for Nick Fradiani. He sang the heck out of it on the piano.
4. Clark Beckham - "Georgia on My Mind"

Clark Beckham impersonated Ray Charles once again with this take on "Georgia on My Mind." He didn't exactly bring the energy or the emotion, but the guy can sing!
5. Clark Beckham - "Ain't No Sunshine"

Producer Simon Fuller decided on this song for Clark Beckham. He stripped down the arrangement for it and went all acoustic on a stool, strumming his guitar.
6. Clark Beckham - "Champion"

This would be Clark Beckham's American Idol Coronation Song... if he wins. One of the verses was definitely too low for him and the chorus stretched his upper register nearly to its breaking point.. What do you think?
