Teresa Giudice may be out of the public eye for the next year or so, serving time behind bars for various types of financial fraud, but Andy Cohen has made it clear:
That doesn't mean the show that made Giudice famous will disappear as well.
In light of Giudice's imprisonment, there's been chatter that Bravo will simply shelve The Real Housewives of New Jersey until her release.
Asked by Us Weekly, though, about the future of the program at the annual Woman's Day Red Dress Awards on Tuesday, the talk show host sought to clarify this rumor.
"I can't imagine not filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Cohen replied. "It's a big franchise for Bravo, and I think whatever we do, we're going to do it the right way, so we're still figuring that out right now."
There's no return date scheduled and the network is still working on cast contracts, but there is one thing Cohen can report on for certain:
The series will NOT film any footage inside Teresa's prison walls.
Might Teresa's husband Joe Giudice and their four daughters (Gia, Milania, Audriana and Gabriella) make appearances without their law-breaking wife/mother next season?
"Maybe!" quipped Cohen. "Anything is possible."
Except the redemption of Teresa Giudice, that is. She just totally sucks as a human being.
