Bruce Jenner got a very important message out last night to a very large television audience.

The reality star's much-hyped sit-down with Diane Sawyer, during which Jenner said he was a woman, was viewed on Friday evening by 17 million people.

It also scored a 5.2 rating among the key advertising demographic of 18-49-year olds, which marks a 400 percent increase over the last new episode of 20/20.

The fascinating Q&A featured a number of candid admission from Jenner, foremost among them:

• He believes he has the "soul" of a woman.
• It is very possible he gets sexual reassignment surgery down the line (he needs a "va-jay-jay," as he said Khloe Kardashian would explain it).
• Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian both saw him wearing women's clothing at various points in the past.
• He has been taking hormones for the past 18 months.
• He will soon leave the spotlight and re-emerge as a female, replete with a different name (which he did not want to make public last night).

Celebrity reaction has been very positive to Jenner's interview, with stars from across all industries praising Bruce's honesty, along with his mission to be a role model in the transgender universe.

At one point, Jenner said he hopes to help "change the world" in terms of how people in his situation are viewed and received by the public.

Even though they've made little to no effort to conceal their relationship, we still haven't received any official confirmation that Kylie Jenner and Tyga are dating.

There's good reason for this, as Tyga is 25 and Kylie is 17, which means if the rapper confessed to a sexual relationship with his "best friend," he might find himself doing time in one of the few places where his neck tattoos wouldn't seem quite so ridiculous.

Hey, speaking of tattoos...it looks as though Tyga may have let the cat out of the bag (pun intended) with his latest ink:

The photo on the left shows T-Raw (apparently hanging with some girl who's about to audition for a stage production of Pocahontas) sporting an inner-arm tat that clearly reads "Kylie."

Most fans dismissed the ink as fake (because how could a grown man be so stupid as to tattoo a teenage girl's name on his arm?), but the photo on the right shows Tyga in different clothes, with the Kylie tattoo still visible on his right arm.

Given the recent baby mama drama that's affected their relationship, we wouldn't be surprised if Tyga went through with the tat as a sort of grand gesture to prove his commitment to Kylie.

On Thursday, Tyga's ex, Blac Chyna, trolled Kylie on Instagram by mocking her giant lips in a ridiculous selfie.

The next day, Blac posted a text conversation in which Tyga seemed to be begging her to take him back.

That's a double-whammy that would leave any guy scrambling to get out of the doghouse - and who knows? - maybe all the jewelry stores were closed by the time the sh-t hit the fan.

We hope for Tyga's sake that the ink is temporary, but even if it is the real deal, it's still not as dumb as the Kylie Jenner lip challenge.

According to various reports, the death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday has risen to over 1,300 individuals.

At least 10 of the deceased were attempting to scale Mount Everest, with the first reported American death being that of Dan Fredinburg.

A Google executive based in California, Fredinburg has a connection to Hollywood:

He dated Sophia Bush for a long period of time before the couple split in February of last year.

Upon learning of the tragic news, the former One Tree Hill actress and ongoing Chicago PD star posted a heartfelt message on Instagram.

"There are no adequate words. Today I find myself attempting to pick up the pieces of my heart that have broken into such tiny shards, I'll likely never find them all," Bush wrote.

"Today I, and so many of my loved ones, lost an incredible friend. Dan Fredinburg was one-of-a-kind. Fearless. Funny. A dancing robot who liked to ride dinosaurs and chase the sun and envision a better future for the world."

She continued:

His brain knew how to build it. His heart was constantly evolving to push himself to make it so. He was one of my favorite human beings on Earth. He was one of the great loves of my life. He was one of my truest friends. He was an incredible brother, a brilliant engineer, and a damn good man. I'm devastated and simultaneously so deeply grateful to have known and loved him, and to have counted him as one of my tribe.

I was so looking forward to our planned download of "all the things" when he got home. I am crushed that I will never hear that story. I am crushed knowing that there are over 1,000 people in Nepal suffering this exact feeling, knowing that they too will never hear another tale about an adventure lived from someone that they love. Disasters like this are often unquantifiable, the enormity is too much to understand.

Kim Richards has taken the first step on a hopeful path to recovery:

The reality star has admitted she needs professional assistance.

According to TMZ insiders, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star - who was arrested for drunken behavior on April 16 - has checked into a Malibu rehab facility.

Richards allegedly had way too much to drink at a lunch in the Beverly Hills Hotel... locked herself in the bathroom... and then kicked a police officer after being taken into custody.

She was booked and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and battery.

The issue of Kim's sobriety was a issue of contention for cast members and for anyone who chose to watch to watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online.

Richards swore throughout the season that she was sober, but fights broke out with Lisa Rinna and sister Kyle over the validity of this statement.

Since her embarrassing arrest, the rumor mill has been churning over whether or not Kim Richards will return next year to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

One report said Richard had to attend rehab if there were any chance for her to continue on Bravo, which may explain why TMZ writes Kim will remain at this facility "for as long as it takes."

On last night's episode, Littlefinger and Roose Bolton arranged a political marriage between Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton.

This is a shocking turn of events for a number of reasons:

1. Ramsay is a sadistic psychopath.
2. We already know that Ramsay will torture someone this season, and now it looks like it'll be Sansa.
3. For as much as they've strayed from their source material in the past, the GoT showrunners have never before so thoroughly abandoned the main action of the books for a twist with such far-reaching consequences.

In George R.R.Martin's version of events, Ramsay marries Jeyne Pool (a friend of Sansa's who never appears on GoT) believing her to be Arya Stark. 

The goal is the same (Ramsay desires a permanent connection to the Stark family in order to secure his position as Warden of the North), but the stakes are now much higher, as it's a major (and majorly long-suffering) character who will experience Ramsay's wrath.

Producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss explained that the decision made more sense from a storytelling perspective (Would viewers really want to sit through a lengthy subplot involving an evil lunatic and an unknown nobody?) and gives actress Sophie Turner a chance to show off her acting chops.

So good news for Sophie...very, very bad news for Sansa.

The Jenner-Kardashian family may all be in full support of Bruce Jenner, but that doesn't mean they are in full support of one another at all times.

Case in point: Brody Jenner took to Instagram on Sunday and has some fun at the expense of his step-sister.

"Look... @kaitlynn_carter and I finally get to attend a wedding together," Brody captioned a picture over the weekend, one that features him, girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, Brandon Jenner and mother Linda Thompson at a friend's nuptials.

The former Hills star, of course, is referencing the fact that Carter did NOT receive an invite to last year's Kim Kardashian-Kanye West wedding, which prompted Jenner to skip the ceremony out of protest.

Perhaps after receiving some backlash from his relatives, Brody ended up deleting this photo and its caption.

But this is the Internet, obviously. It will live on forever and ever.

You can go back and watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online last season to see Kim tell Bruce  that she didn't want Brody to bring Kaitlynn, with Bruce acknowledging that was probably for the best.

Perhaps. But it clearly wasn't the best for the long-term health of the Kim and Brody relationship.

Ever since Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa last year, she's been linked to a wide variety of rebound dudes.

Amber spent a lot of time with Gene Simmons' son Nick right after her split from Wiz, and she briefly dated French Montana's brother shortly thereafter.

Both of those moves were pretty unexpected, but now Ms. Rose is throwing us her biggest curveball yet by getting all loved-up with up-and-coming rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

Even if you're not familiar with Kelly's music, you may know him from his bizarre fashion choices. He recently rocked some sort of open toga thing that showed off his heavily-tatted torso (above) at the MTV Movie Awards.

In a sense, Amber's attraction to MGK makes perfect sense.

Like Wiz, he's a heavily-inked rapper/professional pothead. The two MCs even collaborated on Kelly's single "Mind of a Stoner."

Considering Amber is still in love with Wiz (by her own admission), it makes sense that she'd fall for his Caucasian doppelganger.

However, we can't help but feel that Amber is repeating the same mistake that burned her so recently.

After Wiz was caught cheating on her, Rose blamed the infidelity on his youth and the fact that he was caught up in the lifestyle of a hip hop star.

So...she decided to get involved with an even younger rapper?!

Granted, the Guns and Roses relationship hasn't been confirmed yet, but TMZ reports that Kelly was just spotted picking Amber up at the airport, and we all know it doesn't get any more serious than that.

When the Bruce Jenner-Diane Sawyer interview aired on Friday night, it confirmed what had been something of an open secret in the entertainment world for several years.

No one was shocked when Jenner memorably described himself as having "a woman's soul," but there were plenty of other surprising revelations throughout the 2-hour special.

For one thing, the news that Bruce had struggled with his gender identity for so long that all of his wives knew about his desire to become a woman came as a shock to many.

Now, we're learning more about how the those closest to the Olympian-turned-reality-star initially responded to his desire to transition:

Reports indicate that when Bruce first began hormone therapy in the early-80s, he virtually disappeared from his children's lives. In the clip above, his four oldest kids discuss that difficult time.

"Us missing a time in our lives is still the hardest thing for us to deal with," says Brandon Jenner. "We're trying not to look back; we're just looking forward."

It seems that while they fully support Bruce and his transition, the eldest Jenner kids are still struggling to come to terms with his failings as a father.

Of course, Bruce's family drama doesn't end there.

Radar Online reports that Kris Jenner cried throughout Bruce's interview, but not because she was overwhelmed by the strength displayed by her ex-husband.

“[Kris] was livid that ABC included she had no comment about Bruce’s sex change, while his two former ex-wives both gave statements of support,” says one insider.

The source adds that Kris feels "publicly humiliated" by Bruce's revelation that "she had known about his habit of wearing her clothes around the house."

Kris lashed out in anger when she was criticized for being the only one of Jenner's three ex-wives who had no comment on his transition.

Bruce's eldest son, Burt Jenner, may have attacked Kris on Twitter when he complained about hypocrites in Bruce's life who were "not supportive beforehand," but now claim to have been in his corner all along.

Colombian divers Juan Guillermo Ríos and Víctor Ortega were competing at the FINA Diving World Series in Russia last weekend when they attempted a synchronized move off a 10-meter platform, trying out a tandem reverse 3 1/2 somersault dive.

And, as you can see here, it all started well enough...

However, Ríos soon fell out of sync with his partner before landing squarely on his back in an epic flop. OUCH!

We hesitate to laugh because the fall was so hard that Ríos was sent to the medic clinic after coughing up some blood.

Fortunately, he later assured fans that he was unharmed. So you may now return to your laughing!

Ellen Pompeo does not share the same reaction as many Grey's Anatomy fans to the departure of Patrick Dempsey as Dr. Derek Shepherd.

Yes, we're sure Pompeo is disappointed.

But she isn't exactly signing a petition to bring McDreamy back.

Instead, the star (who portrays the ABC drama's title character, Meredith Grey) is expressing optimism over the potential of where things might now go for Meredith.

“I have always said what keeps me going is the fans. Knowing we move you and inspire you,” Pompeo Tweeted this morning.

While fans mourn the loss of Derek, heading over to watch Grey's Anatomy online to look for clues that he's alive (he's not), Pompeo continued:

"There are so many people out there who have suffered tremendous loss and tragedy. Husbands and wives of soldiers, victims of senseless violence and parents who have lost children. People who get up each day and do what feels like is the impossible.

It's been a full a full two weeks since Jill Duggar gave birth to her first child, so naturally, the time has come for the Guild of Fretful Mothers to take to social media so that they can eviscerate her for her every mistake.

The criticism kicked off in epic fashion today in the Facebook comments section for the below photo:

As you can see, Jill is carrying baby Izzy in a sling. Apparently, she's doing so in an improper fashion that's been known to result in hip injuries, suffocation, war, famine, and at least six separate Biblical plagues.

Okay, we may be exaggerating, but seriously, based on the reaction to that photo, you would think Jill posted a photo of something truly scandalous, like two non-married people kissing on the lips, or something.

“You would think after having 82 siblings and being a midwife she would know how to use a sling properly,” wrote sassy commenter.

Another expert in the art and science of sling-ology went even more in-depth:

“She needs to raise that sling up about a foot, he’s supposed to be laying across her chest, not her waist. The problem is that the baby is horizontal in the carrier, potentially collapsing its airway – like laying in a hammock.

"The baby is also far too low in the carrier, which is bad for her c-sec incision and dangerous for baby (too low=too dangerous for mama to monitor breathing.

Yes, in related news, Jill Duggar had a c-section, which is also something people are obsessing over for some reason.

While she has promised to deliver her next baby vaginally (seriously), Jill has yet to make any promises regarding how she'll carry the kid once it's born, so don't be surprised to see her dragging it around by its ankle or tossing it to strangers and yelling, "Catch!"

We're just days away from the highly-anticipated release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and as with the first film, Marvel is banking on a box office record-breaker. After all, this flick possesses all of the coveted three S's:

With the earth being invaded by the Chocolate Ship (Yes, it's a giant, flying chocolate chip cookie), Onion Man, Captain Ameri-cauliflower and the rest of the Aveggies have to intervene before all of our planet's healthy snacks get "desserted."

The focus may be on teaching kids some valuable lessons about nutrition, but the clip is chock full of references that are sure to get a giggle from grown-up comic book fans.

("Hey, my shield! That's what makes me special!" Cap exclaims when Cookie Monster devours his signature accessory.)

The Aveggies may not pack as many belly-laughs as recent Sesame classics like Game of Chairs or True Mud, and some of the puns are cute but groan-worthy (Black Bean Widow? Really?), but hey, at the end of the day it's a kids' show with sharper writing than most of the sitcoms in primetime.

If nothing else, The Aveggies: Age of Bon-Bon is worth watching for the big reveal of the secret that Mark Ruffalo and Cookie share in common. Oh, and don't forget to stick around for the inevitable shwarma gag at the end.

There is nothing funny about the ongoing riots in Baltimore.

Over 200 people have been arrested; over 140 vehicles have been set on fire; and over 15 buildings have been burned to the ground as residents protest police treatment of Freddie Gray, a young man who died in custody this month.

The 25-year old suffered a spinal cord injury and passed away on April 19, with authorities admitting they mishandled Gray following his arrest (e.g. he was not buckled into the police van).

But while a country watches in horror and a city reacts in panic (and while Donald Trump calls out Barack Obama for not solving the crisis), at least one unnamed protester fulfilled a lifelong dream in the midst of all the chaos.

He made like Michael Jackson.

The video above features footage of this young man moving, grooving and dancing to "Beat It," impressing all with his impression of The King of Pop.

We wish he never had the opportunity to do so, but since he already has, it's worth a few seconds of your time to admire the man's moves.

Making a quiet run at the Worst Celebrity Breakup title, Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds are engaged in an epic custody battle over their daughter.

Rounds reportedly wants custody of Dakota. Rosie is not having it.

The last five months have been "absolute hell for Michelle" as a result, says a source who adds that "Rosie’s a big bully" who loves making life miserable.

"Michelle has seen Rosie’s ugly side ... she no longer wants anything to do with the star and wants to take Dakota and live their lives in peace.”

O'Donnell, Rounds' camp claims, "is coming up with a million reasons not to follow through on what was an agreed prenuptial arrangement made."

“Rosie has done nothing but try to put the screws to Michelle."

Since they split, they’ve been dividing up time with Dakota by the week, but Rounds wants full custody, and for Rosie to follow through on their deal.

Says the source, who is obviously a Michelle Rounds fan:  

“And as far as full custody of their daughter, Michelle deserved it. The fact is Michelle has done everything for their daughter since the adoption."

"Rosie seldom changed diapers or fed their baby. Michelle embraced motherhood, and she wants their child away from Rosie and all of Rosie’s problems.”

Given that Rosie has raised or is raising four other kids, that might be a hard sell, especially if she's got Dakota every other week and surviving now.

Should be interesting to see if a judge agrees.

It's only been a week since the world first learned that Jessa Duggar is pregnant, but the social media-mad 22-year-old has been eagerly sharing details with anyone who will listen from the moment she first made her big announcement.

Apparently when Jessa's not celebrating her pregnancy on Instagram, she's sharing details of the experience with the congregation at Cross Church Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas.

Several church-goers told Radar Online about their recent encounter with the glowing mom-to-be.

“We heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time today!” an overjoyed Jessa reportedly told a group of University of Arkansas sorority girls while filming at the church this week. “At first they couldn’t hear the heart beat, the baby wasn’t turned the right way or something like that.”

As for the baby's sex, Jessa says they'll find out soon enough...but the rest of us will have to wait until the delivery.

“We’re actually thinking about keeping it a secret, like just Ben and I know, but we’re not sure,” Jessa said, according to one witness.

Based on the details she shared with the sorority sisters, it sounds as though there's no truth to the rumor that Jessa is having twins. 

Sure, she may have been keeping that fact under wraps, but with Jessa's current level of excitement, we doubt she'd be able to convincingly keep a secret.

Another week, another crazy rumor surrounding The Bachelor winners Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff, and this one, like many before it, is hilarious:

His stint on Dancing with the Stars, which never seems to end (he survived anotherDancing with the Stars results show last night), is taking a toll.

Because he's too tired to give it to his fiancee!

Chris Soules reportedly confessed, “It’s pretty limited [our time together] It’s gotten worse now. We’ve got four dances that we’re rehearsing this week."

"So it’s stressful. So it’s hard to really focus on them and nurture the relationship.” Whit adds, “I know. He just comes home, like, sorry babe. I’m so tired.”

Soules went on to say, “Hopefully, I’m here to the end. Whatever happens, I’ll do my best. We’re all enjoying the experience. It’ll be over soon enough.”

Apparently their relationship is over after DWTS ... according to another report that does not paint a pretty picture of the future for the two lovebirds.

We know Whitney Bischoff wants babies, and bad, and that she can't wait to settle down in Iowa with Prince Farming and get on with the process.

The question is whether any of the talk about Chris - that he's cheating, that he's using her to land a farm-based reality show (our favorite), etc. - is legit.

We sort of doubt it, but it does make you wonder.

Is his stint on Dancing with the Stars exactly what they did not need in order to keep the spark alive after The Bachelor ended and real life began?
