Lip-syncing rumors continue to dog Britney Spears.

After a rash of reports circulated that Brit wasn't singing live when she kicked off her Las Vegas residency late last year, a new video has gone viral.

The clip shows a Britney Spears wardrobe malfunction of the technical sort, as her mic pack flew off of her waistband, pulling her earpiece away from her mouth.

Of course, her vocals didn't change AT ALL. Watch:

Commenters on Instagram were quick to call her out.

“#Lipsyncforyourlife” @andres_santana_ wrote.

Another commented, “Playback or nothing!”

Britney Spears lip syncing accounts are not new, or surprising, but before “Piece of Me” residency began, her reps were insisting she would be singing live.

“Britney Spears will be singing live during her show (and) she will not be ‘lip-synching,’” her rep said, while Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph was quoted as saying:

“There might be some numbers where she’s full out dancing with a (vocal) track underneath her, but there won’t be any lip-syncing across the board on anything.”

So much for that.

Last fall, reports also surfaced that Spears leaned heavily on backing vocals from Myah Marie for her song, “Perfume,” though her rep shot down that gossip.

Still, the more this keeps happening, does it make you less likely to take Britney seriously as an artist? Or is the Vegas show proof positive that it matters not?

According to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, Selena Gomez has Demi Lovato to thank and Justin Bieber to blame.

The tabloid goes inside Selena's recent two-week stint in rehab, writing that Gomez needed help because she was "destroyed" by Bieber, citing "verbal abuse" from her occasional boyfriend and even an "STD scare."

This isn't the first time sources have connected Selena's rehab visit to her tumultuous time with Justin, an accusation Bieber's people vehemently deny.

They've labeled Gomez a drunk and said she would often party Bieber under the table.

No matter the cause, however, In Touch Weekly writes that Lovato helped Selena "find the strength" to seek professional assistance.

“Demi told her it’s OK to be honest about having a problem," an insider alleges. "They’ve really bonded over their issues.”

Lovato, of course, has been very open for years about her teenage struggles with drugs and an eating disorder.

Rolling Stone is firing back at Drake for his complaints about being dropped from the cover, saying he was told in advance that the switch was happening.

Drake ripped Rolling Stone earlier today, claiming that he was unceremoniously replaced by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman on the front of the new issue.

The rapper made it clear he wasn't throwing shade on PSH, but sources close to Drizzy say "he only did the interview to be on the cover," and feels "tricked."

He called the press "evil" in a Tweet earlier today.

Drake was interviewed on January 28, and the photo shoot with the magazine was also completed before Philip Seymour Hoffman died on February 2.

A rep for Rolling Stone says this happens all the time if musicians and actors pass away, with other recent examples being Lou Reed and Whitney Houston.

Regardless, the publication insists his camp was informed last Friday that he wouldn't be on the cover when the issue was released this Wednesday.

Drake, who also denies speaking on the record to Rolling Stone about Kanye West's Yeezus, has deleted his tweets about both the cover and Hoffman.

As for calling Macklemore wack as f--k for apologizing to Kendrick Lamar for winning Best Rap Album, then sharing a screen shot of the text ... no retraction.

Mr. Papers, a New York-based rapper who collaborated with the expecting mother on a track titled "Pour It Up," says he also collaborated with Lil Kim in the bedroom. Naked! Without a birth control!

Yes, Mr. Papers claims to be Lil Kim's baby daddy.

Hours after Kim's pregnancy news hit the Internet - she was spotted at a fashion event last night with a major baby bump and later confirmed the status herself - Mr. Papers Tweeted:

"I heard everybody looking for me ?????????????????"

The artist has also been re-Tweeting a number of congratulatory messages, while his Twitter handle now reads "Daddy.

Lil Kim and Mr. Papers did date for a little while, but they broke up in 2012. At the time, Lil Kim said there was "no malice or bad blood" between the pair - and that's extra evident now!

Nicki Minaj has come out and apologized for using a photo of Malcolm X for the cover of her latest single, "Lookin’ Ass N-gga."

The artist came under heavy fire today for re-publishing an image first used by Ebony magazine in 1961 in which the civil right leader is holding a machine gun.

In a long Instagram post, the ex-American Idol panelist begins by lashing out at her critics, writing:

"What seems to be the issue now? Do you have a problem with me referring to the people Malcolm X was ready to pull his gun out on as Lookin Ass Niggaz? Well, I apologize. That was never the official artwork nor is this an official single.

"This is a conversation. Not a single."

Minaj then grows more conciliatory as the post goes on, however.

"I apologize to the Malcolm X estate if the meaning of the photo was misconstrued," she writes, adding a larger statement about society:

The word “nigga” causes so much debate in our community while the “nigga” behavior gets praised and worship. Let’s not. Apologies again to his family. I have nothing but respect an adoration for u."

Minaj has also taken the photo down.

Ralph Waite, an Emmy-nominated actor best known for his leading role on The Waltons in the 1970s, passed away today at his home in South Palm Desert.

He was 86 years old.

Steve Gordon, the accountant for the Waite family, confirmed this sad news to The Hollywood Reporter.

Waite anchored The Waltons for nine seasons and more recently made stops on such shows as Carnivale, Bones and NCIS, portraying Gibbs' father on television's highest-rated series.

He also founded the Los Angeles Actors Theatre in 1975 and twice ran unsuccessfully for a Congressional seat, including a run for the seat left vacant by the death of Sonny Bono in 1998.

A native of White Plains, New York, Waite was an ordained minister, a former social worker and a recovering alcoholic.

He had been married to his third wife, Linda East, since 1984 and had two daughters Kathleen and Suzanne.

Our thoughts go out to Waite's loved ones.

Kelly Hyland wants $5 million as a result of the fight the two got into last month during a rehearsal in NYC. It got ugly, even by Dance Moms' low standards.

Hyland claims she was upset with Abby for yelling at her two daughters, only to watch Abby jump in front of her and begin yelling and lunging wildly.

What Kelly describes next is either hilarious or scary, depending on how you look at it. She says Abby was "gnashing her teeth loudly attempting to bite [me]."

Miller, she says, presumably in an effort to make the point that she was in danger, "is a very large woman" who likely "weighs around 300 pounds or so."

As part of the legal filing, Kelly Hyland admits that she slapped Abby Lee Miller and pulled her head away during the fracas, but only in self-defense.

The footage shown on Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 7 this week backs her up for the most part, but she says producers drove her away from the scene.

Handlers put her on a plane, she believes, knowing police would issue a warrant for her arrest for not cooperating, and therefore creating a hot storyline.

Producers using tension for ratings and story manipulation? Shocking.

Hyland is suing Abby Lee Miller and the producers, alleging assault, defamation, and breach of contract, claiming she hasn't been paid since the fight went down.

She also wants $5 million in punitive damages as a result of all this.

Hyland may be reaching there, but Miller is definitely a beast in the dance studio. Just watch Dance Moms online and you'll see it every week, fights or no fights.

Farrah Abraham can say she's not a porn star all she likes (and she likes to quite frequently), but a porn company is paying her a ton of money in royalties.

This is what we call hypocrisy, or just flat-out lying. She is likely too pathological to be called a hypocrite, which implies some control over one's fabrications.

In any case ... porn. She says it's abhorrent what Vivid is doing, releasing this sequel to her hit film, Farrah Abraham: Backdoor & More. But she's all for it!

While she rails against the company publicly for putting out the film without her consent, girl wants to get PAID for getting railed and putting out for them.

Farrah's Backdoor Teen Mom porn debut, which she tried to pass off as a "leaked" sex tape with James Deen (a porn star) was released a year ago.

It's still a big-time seller, though, and the 22-year-old darn well knows this, calling Vivid Entertainment last month to demand her quarterly royalty check.

She was wired it, too, for an impressive sum of $93,927.72.

That's quarterly, mind you. Farrah has received more than that from Vivid in previous quarters, and was paid in the high six-figures up front to film this.

This is A LOT of money to turn around and get on a soapbox claiming you're a mother and a victim of a ruthless company ... but that's Farrah for you.
