Justin Bieber turned 18 today, and he just received the best birthday gift of all.

No, not this new car, although that was pretty cool of manager Scooter Braun to present. We're referring to best wishes from the most important young woman in his life, girlfriend Selena Gomez.

“Happy birthday to my best friend in the whole world!!! Have a great birthday baby!” Selena Tweeted this afternoon, attaching the following photo of the couple with her message:

Things are clearly going VERY well for Justin and Selena, but not that well. The former cleared up any engagement talk this morning with Ryan Seacrest. Bieber told the radio host:

"First and foremost, I’m not engaged. You know, we’re still young, at this moment in time, this is where I am, so that’s all I can really say."

Fair enough. This is all we can say in response to the photo above: AWWWWW!

Some New York City residents are not fans of AMC's new Mad Men ads.

The images in the billboards shown below are familiar from the show's opening sequence, and feature Don Draper "falling" in the figurative sense. But many citizens, especially the families of 9/11 victims, are taking serious offense.

Deborah Burlingame, whose dad piloted the jet that was forced to crash into the Pentagon, finds it "impossible to believe" that any advertiser would run such a campaign in New York and not evoke the "tragic memory of those poor souls on 9/11."

"I think this advertiser decided that creating a controversy, at the expense of thousands who will be hurt by this image of man falling to his certain death, is worth it."

The creators of Mad Men said in response:

"The image of Don Draper tumbling through space has been used since the show began in 2007 to represent a man whose life is in turmoil."

"The image used in the campaign is intended to serve as a metaphor for the events happening in Don Draper’s fictional life and in no way references actual events."

Mad Men ads in New York: Offensive?

Demi Moore has checked out of Cirque Lodge in Utah and has embarked on a private vacation, sources tell E! News.

The actress checked into this famous rehab facility not long after suffering a seizure on January 23 that was brought on by the ingestion of a foreign substance. (Listen to the 911 call placed on her behalf now.)

What is the actress up to now? Not much.

"She's in no rush to get back to L.A.," says an insider who reports the star is "on vacation" and adds: "She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people."

There's still no official word on why Moore was seeking help, but E! moles confirm the time away was spent working on addiction issues and an eating disorder. We sincerely hope it helped.

Kate Major is looking at some serious jail time.

Michael Lohan's unstable ex-girlfriend has been charged with battery for allegedly attacking three people on a boozy tirade in Florida earlier this winter.

The laundry list of criminal charges does not end there.

Major was arrested for allegedly beating up a Latino couple in a parking lot and berating them with racist epithets, then calling the arresting officer a "fat f**k.

When cops tried to arrest Major, police say that she resisted arrest and tried to kick the officers. After she was arrested, she continued to act belligerently.

Major is charged with three counts of battery, one count of resisting arrest and one count of disorderly intoxication ... all misdemeanors on top of the felony.

If convicted on all counts, Major could face more than four years behind bars. Hope she has a good lawyer. She makes MiLo look like a model citizen! Almost.

We can now remove the question mark from this headline: Kim Kardashian HAS been sued for her support of QuickTrim.

TMZ has broken the news that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are all on the hook for $5 million, as New York firm Bursor & Fisher is representing consumers who believe the sisters duped them into purchasing this weight loss supplement via advertisments and Tweets, such as the following from Kim in 2009:

"Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."

The plaintiffs claim the Kardashians provided no evidence for their testimonials and purposely misled fans into believing this product - which is not approved by the FDA - was responsible for their revamped figures.

As we've said before, though: while the siblings deserve to pay for so shameless selling out - remember when Kim was proud of her curves? - do these folks really expect sympathy for basing their spending habits on something supported by Kim Kardashian?

Adam Lambert is simply a "crazy hedonistic rebel who wants to liberate the masses."

That's what this former American Idol star says in the latest issue of Fault, explaining to the magazine how his public persona does not always jibe with his private one.

"I’m not always as strong and confident as I may seem," Adam says. "I work hard to project pride and poise when faced with judgement and heartache. That is how I cope. I feel a bit of pressure to set a certain example that suggests that I deserve my place in this industry. I'm hard on myself and critical."

And how does his upcoming album, "Tresspassing," play into this dichotomy?

"There are songs on [the CD] that deal with that anxiety," he says. "Until I met my current boyfriend (Sauli Koskinen), I was always falling for the wrong guys, which caused my self worth to suffer. This is just some of what the album explores.”

The album was originally scheduled for a March release, but has now been pushed back so Adam can "work on some new songs," as he Tweeted a couple weeks ago.

In the wake of rumors that Chris Brown and Rihanna are hooking up and close to full-on reconciling, Rihanna has admitted that she's not a fan of flying solo.

"Single life is so overrated," she said on Britain's The Jonathan Ross Show.

"It sucks. I have such incredible experiences in my life. You don't want to live your life and then meet someone. You want to share your life with someone."

"That's what I'm missing right now."

Though she insisted that she's "not looking," she'd "love to date somebody cool, fun, funny." Possibly named Chris Brown? She did not name names.

In any case, she'll likely have a number of suitors to choose from.

The 24-year-old pop star had to fight off all sorts of male attention during her most recent trip to London, where she partied for four days straight.

A source inside Aura nightclub said, “Rihanna came in last Sunday and a stockbroker spent [$105,000] on champagne just so he could meet her."

Friggin 1 percenters.

Rihanna said she's found solace in another unlucky in love star: Adele. She confessed to attending the Brit Awards "just to stalk" the UK singer.

"I saw her at the Grammys and I love her," Rihanna told Ross about the British superstar. "I'm a big fan. … Her last album, 21, spoke to me so much."

"It was so personal to her, but I feel like everyone in the world identified with it, to the point that I had to stop listening because it was depressing me so much."

"If you identify with it, sometimes you don't want to hear about it."

And sometimes it wins six Grammys.

Ben Flajnik proposes to either Courtney Robertson or Lindzi Cox on the March 12 season finale of The Bachelor, to be followed by the After the Final Rose special.

Not a moment too soon for the star, who has been miserable throughout the filming and aftermath of the hit show and reportedly hated his reality TV experience.

According to sources, Ben taped the Women Tell All episode and was taken aback by all the bitterness, and overheard griping about the show during the taping.

“Ben was talking to the producers and when they asked if he would do the show again he said ‘No way! This was the worst experience of my life,’” an insider said.

According to the source, Ben wasn’t acting like a happy guy who is engaged to the love of his life (read our Bachelor spoilers page to learn who we think that is).

“He wasn’t animated or excited and the insider said it is because he totally regrets going on the show,” the source said. “Ben couldn’t hide how miserable he was."

"Everyone could see that he wasn’t happy.”

Ben Flajnik wasn’t the only person there in a bad mood. Courtney Robertson, the only finalist to go on ATFR in recent memory, was just as miserable looking.

“Courtney was complaining and moaning ‘Can we stop this now?’ She was annoyed that the women were picking on her and the process was taking so long."

"A producer had to remind her ‘You’re doing this for you and Ben.’ She agreed but was rolling her eyes the whole time; she just couldn’t wait to get out of there.”

ATFR airs Monday, with the finale a week later. On the show Ben has narrowed his choices down to Lindzi and Courtney for the final rose ceremony March 12.

Only one of those two has been seen wedding dress shopping, but from his attitude at the recent taping, it doesn’t seem like Ben is happily in love right now.

Looking skinny and sounding as great as ever, Mariah Carey took to the stage in New York City last night for the first time since giving birth 10 months ago.

"Do you love them babies?" she asked the crowd at one point of Moroccan and Monroe. "I really wanted to bring them here tonight, but Monroe is sometimes shy and takes a while to warm up to an audience. Rock and roll! Nah, but it's late. It's time for them to be asleep."

Donning a skintight black dress and covered in diamonds, Carey broke into such tracks as "It's Like That," "Obsessed," "I'll Be There," and a new version of "Shake You Off." Watch the latter below:

Lamar Odom is not ready to play in the NBA again. Not yet at least.

The reality star, who left the Dallas Mavericks over a week ago to be with his ailing father, has been temporarily relegated to for his team's D-league affiliate, the Texas Legends, for one game in order to "get his legs back under him," a source tells ESPN.

That contest will take place tomorrow night and then Odom - whose 7.7 points per game this season are half his career average - will likely rejoin the Mavs for a big game against the Thunder on March 5.

Lamar's wife, meanwhile, is facing a problem of her own: Khloe Kardashian and her sisters have been sued for $5 million because they are bit fat liars. Well, big skinny liars. But still.

Kaley Cuoco's engagement has come to an end, as the CBS star has confirmed that she is no longer set to marry boyfriend/addiction specialist Josh Resnik.

What happened? The actress is keeping that information to herself, but confirmed to Entertainment Tonight this week that she was no longer altar-bound.

The subject came up when The Big Bang Theory star was asked if she took inspiration from the recent wedding of costar Kunal Nayyar. Her response:

"I'm not engaged anymore, so no. But in general, yes. For my future wedding, yes!"

That clears that up. As it were, the 26-year-old actress had never publicly declared any wedding date and only announced her engagement to Resnik last October.

Troubled star Amber Portwood will not be present as the cast members of Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 head to NYC this weekend to participate in a reunion special.

Amber's mom, Tonya, tells E! that the judge overseeing her daughter's probation denied permission for her to leave Anderson, Ind., to participate in the event.

"He thinks it will interfere with her program," says Tonya.

Probably right. But despite the setback, Amber isn't sweating it too hard. It wasn't long ago before it looked like her filming days were done altogether.

Now that she's living at her grandma's, the show may go on ... ankle monitor style, but still. "I'm happy. Just stressed, but I'm happy," says Portwood.

Last week, she was released from the Madison County correctional facility where she had been since December after being busted for drug possession.

Portwood is staying with her grandparents as she attends eight months of rehab at Sister 2 Sister Ministries (which won't let her film Teen Mom there).

If she were to violate her strict probation in any way, Amber Portwood faces a maximum of five years in prison on her felony drug-possession charge.

Her baby daddy, Gary Shirley, posted on Facebook that he and their 3-year-old daughter, Leah, are flying to New York to participate in the special.

She may no longer host her a daytime talk show, but Oprah Winfrey still has serious sway.

The Associated Press confirms that she has landed the first interview with members of Whitney Houston's family since the singer's tragic death last month, as Oprah will sit down with loved ones that include:

Whitney‘s sister-in-law/manager, Patricia Houston; her brother Gary; and her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who many fear is headed down a similar, drug-laden path as her mother.

Oprah attended Whitney's funeral in New Jersey and no official cause of death has been determined yet. Autopsy results should be in within a week or two.

The interview, meanwhile, will air on OWN Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m.

Let's give Jennifer Love Hewitt a lot of credit: the actress isn't even trying to pretend any longer.

Why should you tune in for this actress' upcoming new show on Lifetime, The Client List? Not for the acting, not for the storyline, not for the production value.

JLH made the reason clear in this scantily-clad promotional video for the April 8 premiere and now she's doing it again in a new poster for the series:

The Client List will air on Sunday nights and center on a single mother who takes over control of a brothel. We'll certainly be tuning in. Or at least staring at this picture for the next few hours.

After Lorene Scafaria and Ashton Kutcher were spotted together in Italy over the holidays, a rep for the actor came out and shot down rumors of these two dating.

But we wonder what that rep would say now.

In the latest issue of Us Weekly, a witness says he spotted the screenwriter and the actor cozying up at a charity event on February 25.

"They were affectionate," the onlooker reports. "When they thought no one was watching, they held hands, and she rubbed his back and his neck."

Scafaria previously dated Adam Brody and Kutcher, of course, was married to Demi Moore for six years. That actress just left rehab and is reportedly vacationing now in Turks and Caicos.

That's how she explains traveling all the way to Switzerland just to "warn" Ben Flajnik about Courtney Robertson on last week's episode of The Bachelor.

With Southern charm, bright eyes and a big heart, it was easy to see why so many people fell in love with Kacie B. and were rooting for her over Court.

Alas, Ben was not one of those people.

Speaking with reporters about her hometown date gone awry, her trip to Europe and if she thinks Ben Flajnik and his fiancee will last, she had this to say:

On her elimination: "I definitely didn't think it was me. When it got down to one rose, I thought that Nicki would be going home. I was shocked."

On why she went to Switzerland after getting axed: "Initially, I was not going there in search of a second chance. I really wanted closure."

"I had to make my peace about Courtney, because I care. Of course, there was a little part of me that hoped he'd be like, "I made a mistake. Stay."

On why she cares so much about Courtney: "I have a problem with somebody who has two sides, because I don't know which is really you."

"She was manipulating – I'm not sure who she manipulated more, us or him."

On whether her hometown date sent Ben running for the hills: "As much as I'd like to think Tennessee and California aren't that different, they are."

"He wanted to live with whoever he [picked], and he owns a winery, so those are two things in his life that don't line up with my parents' views."

"If whoever I'm with doesn't mesh [with my family], that causes problems."

On whether he should pick Lindzi Cox or Courtney Robertson: "I'm Team Lindzi. I love Lindzi, but it seems like he and Courtney get along great."

"At the end of the day, it's what makes him happy. If they are a great couple, who are we to judge? If they are meant to be together, they should be."

On her own romantic status update: "Still single. Watching has helped me get over it. I'm in a great place and ready to see who I meet next."
