Life behind bars was a little less lonely for Teresa Giudice this past weekend.
That's because The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member received her very first visit from her family, as husband Joe and all four of the couple's children stopped by Connecticut's Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury.
Giudice has been an inmate there since January 5.
Why did it take her loved ones over two weeks to say hello in person?
"The girls had significant activities and Teresa didn't want to disrupt anything," an insider tells Us Weekly, explaining that Giudice does not want to mess with her children's schedules too much.
While Bravo ponders putting her show on hiatus until Giudice is a free woman, sources also reveal to the aforementioned tabloid that Teresa is a popular woman inside.
"All anyone is talking about is that woman - even the staff," writes Us of inmate No. 65703-050. "The vultures who want to be her bestie were all over her."
Despite this quasi support, Giudice "cried silent" after first being imprisoned, although she did receive some good news not long after her incarceration.
The mother of four (to Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5) will be released from the clink before Christmas, 54 days shy of her initial 15-month sentence.
