The ladies of the dirty, dirty south have not lacked for drama since returning to Bravo this fall, and last night's installment was certainly no exception.
So what did we learn from Sunday's The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 5?
Well, we learned that when Kandi Burruss organizes a "peaceful" dinner party so the crew can hash out their issues, the claws are gonna come out instead.
O.M.G. Raise your hands if you're surprised by that twist, Bravo fans. Anyone? Hello?
Phaedra Parks seemed to know what she was up against going in, offering up a hilarious faux prayer with Kandi Burruss as they arrived at the restaurant:
"We might need a word of prayer before these heifers get here. We come against whores and liars. I want God to be in the midst, because this could turn out horribly wrong."
If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, this was obvious foreshadowing.
Even though Apollo Nida admitted he lied about wanting to make the sex with Kenya Moore, and vice versa, Phaedra couldn't find it in herself to apologize.
"I didn't start the rumor. Her behavior started the rumor," said Parks.
"I called you a whore, and I called you a slut," she went on, "because if it look like a duck, it quack like a duck, it yellow and swim in a pond, it's a duck."
Burrrrrrn.
"If you feel you don't owe me an apology, I hope you can sleep at night," Moore said, pleading the case. "I forgive you, Phaedra. Let's clear the slate."
"I will not be persecuting you, Kenya," Phaedra replied.
"That wasn't an apology, Phaedra," Moore said.
Meanwhile, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey didn't exactly clear the slate either over Leakes calling Bailey's husband, Peter, a bitch last season.
"It would nice for you guys to get back on speaking terms," Kandi said, hoping to get the former besties speaking again. Best of luck on that quest.
"She knows what it is and I know what it is," Bailey said to Leakes. "I didn't wake up one day saying, 'I'm not going to be friends with NeNe anymore.' "
"Why didn't you call me up and say, 'Hey friend?'" Leakes shot back, referring to the aforementioned bitch incident. "You let your husband get in your head."
"You know I'm a good ass friend. I get really heated like you're some innocent person here. I'm the one who's dumb, because I thought you was a real f--king friend."
"I had your back when no one else had your back. I know you want people to think I was a bad friend … and I loved you like a f--king sister."
"I never thought you would throw our friendship away."
So much for NeNe Leakes not bringing the drama.
