Her stories shifting like the wind, Oksana Grigorieva says she was just trying to help her insane ex by recording the now-infamous Mel Gibson tapes.
She took 'em straight to his shrink, dammit!
Oksana says she went to Mel Gibson's psychologist in February, just a few days after she made the secret recordings, and played them for the man.
SHADY AND SHADIER: It's hard to tell which is which!
Dr. John Kenyon had been seeing Mel professionally, and Team Oksana says she felt he needed serious help and wanted Kenyon to hear how badly.
Oksana's lawyers have discussed taking the shrink's deposition, in no small part to establish that Oksana's motives in taping Mel were not sinister.
But here's the rub, which you'll always find with her. At the same time, she was also lawyer shopping, including with none other than Gloria Allred.
Allred told her to go to the police, which she did not. Eventually, she hired another lawyer, who helped broker a $15 million settlement with Gibson.
She later disavowed this deal for reasons that are still very much unclear, but it all happened before the tapes leaked to Radar Online this summer.
Oksana denies she's the leak, but her credibility seems to decline every time she talks and appears desperate, slanderous and/or contradictory.
Mel, conversely, has taken the opposite tack and made no public comments, which may be the better strategic move, no matter what happened.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is in the middle of an investigation to determine if the tapes were a weapon in an extortion play by Oksana.
