Adam Levine is, once again, speaking out in defense of fellow Voice coach Christina Aguilera, who has endured criticism over her weight in recent months.
During an appearance on Ellen (airing Monday), he said:
"It's a very basic thing. She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything she does or says. So, that's it. That's how I feel about it."
Well put.
Christina Aguilera's weight has become a popular topic of discussion of late, not that it's stopped her from wearing risque outfits or stipping down on her album cover.
In fact, during an appearance on Chelsea Lately, she talked about how she hates pants and preached pussy power, which isn't something one does if one has self-esteem problems.
She's also taken to the airwaves to speak candidly on body issues, American Idol, haters on the Internet and more. The main takeaway: Don't mess with Xtina!
Nice that the American Horror Story: Asylum star has her back, too.
