He's got a reputation as a tough cookie, but Fox News' Bill O'Reilly has a surprising amount of sympathy for some of Hollywood's most controversial stars.
Stopping by Katie Couric's show while promoting his new book, Killing Kennedy, Bill was asked to play the "name game" and comment on some celebrity gossip favorites:
On Lindsay Lohan: "I feel bad for her ... [She] is a Long Island girl. I think she's got screwed up parents, you know; I hope she straightens it out."
On Honey Boo Boo: "I don't like to see kids in the public eye at that age."
On Kim Kardsahian: "She seems like an energetic young woman."
On Jon Stewart: "He likes to hang out with me. I would go on his show. He was on my show and we have a very good back and forth because he's quick, smart and honest. He's not mean-spirited."
"A lot of these pundits are very mean-spirited; they want to hurt you if they disagree with you, and I don't like that. We kind of developed this rapport."
On Stephen Colbert: "I think he owes me a major check, mocking me every night."
