Seriously, Oksana's clandestine recordings of an irate Mel Gibson and what she tried to do with them are being explored from every conceivable angle.
The latest revelation? That Grigorieva made a beeline for attorney Gloria Allred right after secretly recording the Mel Gibson tapes. Looking to cash in?
The Oksana Grigorieva-Mel Gibson case gets even more twisted.
Days after the rants of February 18, Oksana met with Gloria and attorney Eric George separately, several times. Ultimately, she opted to hire George.
Sources say Gloria Allred advised her to go to the police immediately and file a domestic violence complaint, then hold a conference to play the tapes.
Just two months before, Gloria scored a $10 million settlement for Rachel Uchitel, then canceled their news conference hours before it was scheduled.
George was the one who engineered a $15 million package for Oksana and her daughter with Mel, Lucia, back in May. Only Oksana left it on the table.
Sources say during the mediation, Oksana was back on the phone talking to Gloria, then disavowed the Gibson deal and began lawyer shopping again.
It is unclear if Oksana continued talking to Gloria. Allred herself said, "No comment."
"It is the policy of our law firm never to discuss who does or does not contact us and for those who do contact us we never disclose what is discussed."
Again ... shady stuff, that's the long and short of it. She swears she didn't leak the rants, but she sure seemed bent on using them to her advantage.
