Warner Bros. has come out with a new poster for The Dark Knight Rises, and it does not bode well for a certain Caped Crusader.
Featuring Tom Hardy's Bane standing over a fallen Batman mask, along with cracks in the iconic logo, the image teases this July 2012 blockbuster, which reportedly is set eight years after events that concluded the previous installment.
Director Christopher Nolan - who, along with Christian Bale, will bow out of the franchise after their third film together - has said the opening of The Dark Knight Rises "takes your breath away."
We don't doubt it. Check out the official Dark Knight Rises trailer now and let the countdown to next summer begin!
