The 19th season of The Amazing Race covered four continents, 20 cities and nearly 40,000 miles as the various couples battled to beat other fiercely competitive teams.
After last week's elimination of Olympian snowboarders Tommy Szechin, 31, and Andy Finch, 30, who won six legs along the way, it was wide open on last night's finale.
So who emerged victorious?
Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang!
The project manager, 29 and his fiancée, a 30-year-old brand manager, who took the $1 million competition by besting Jeremy Cline and Sandy Draghi, plus retired NFL tight end Marcus Pollard and his wife, business owner Amani.
"This has been the best premarital counseling that you could ever get," Chiang said after claiming victory. "I can't think of anything better in my life than to have a husband that proved he could be so supportive and caring even when I'm at my low."
"It's really been an incredible experience."
