Ricki Lake is not messing around.
The Dancing With the Stars standout says J.R. Martinez is the one to beat, but if Lake's quickstep last night was any indication, the Mirror Ball could be hers to lose.
She's gunning for that piece, too.
"I am more than a competitive person," the 43-year-old talk show host said in rehearsals for Monday's dance with Derek Hough. "When I sign up, I want to win."
The's fast-paced choreography to "Luck Be a Lady" from Guys and Dolls (it was Broadway week) earned well-deserved raves from the judges. Watch her below:
"Impeccable style, outstanding choreography," Bruno Tonioli gushed to Lake, who's become a celebrity weight loss poster child with a 20-pounds-lighter frame.
Added Carrie Ann Inaba: "It's beautiful to see poetry in motion. It was everything a Dancing With the Stars number should be." Do you agree? Can you not?
