Peggy Tanous, who has been open about her battle with postpartum depression and thoughts of suicide, is no longer a Real Housewife of Orange County.
In a Facebook posting today, the reality star resigned from the Bravo franchise.
"After months of negotiation and soul searching, I have declined their offer to return to the show," Peggy writes. "I just felt in my heart that being around the negative energy of certain cast members, being forced to have 'dramatic' confrontations and the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me."
That's about as honest an answer as Tanous could provide, especially the part about how Bravo scripts "dramatic" confrontations.
In other franchise news, the network swears no cast member is leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey. But you'll forgive us if we don't exactly believe anything at all about these supposedly Real programs.
