Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels are at odds over ... well, what are they NOT at odds over would be a better question. The longtime lovebirds are engaged in a full-scale legal war surrounding their former union.
The legality of which is currently in question.
According to legal papers, the Grammy-winning singer claims she's battling Tammy over child custody (the pair has two daughters), visitation, child support, spousal support, division of property and attorney's fees.

Perhaps most significantly, Melissa (now reportedly dating Tammy's BFF Linda Wallem) says they were never actually, legally, married, and that a non-binding commitment ceremony entitles Tammy to ... well, a lot less than a marriage.
Tammy says they were married. How there's confusion about that, we have no idea, but clearly these two don't see eye to eye on many things lately.
