Caitlyn Jenner would like to introduce herself to the Twitterverse.

This month's issue of Vanity Fair features the first photos of Bruce Jenner as a woman, with the cover revealing to the world this reality star's new name and persona.

Say hello to Caitlyn Jenner.

Now that her name and appearance are out there for all to see, Jenner didn't stop at Vanity Fair.

She joined Facebook and Twitter and sent her first message on both social media services, writing:

I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

At the moment, "@Caitlyn_Jenner" has over 630,000 followers.

The reality star has received nothing but praise since sitting down with Diane Sawyer on April 24 and candidly discussing his sexual identity crisis.

At the time, Bruce said he was fine going by the male pronoun - despite saying he is for "all intents and purposes a woman" - but he has now made the official change.

Out of respect, we will be referring to Caitlyn as she going forward.

“I’m not doing this to be interesting. I’m doing this to live. #‎CallMeCaitlyn," Jenner wrote on Facebook this morning.

Caitlyn's issue of Vanity Fair goes on sale June 9.

In the meantime, support continues to flow freely online, with Khloe Kardashian responding to Caitlyn's cover reveal and new social media presence by Instagramming:

"We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn't be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!"
