Taylor Swift may just want to record a new version of "Blank Space" at this point.
Everyone is just singing their own lyrics to the smash hit anyway... including Taylor's own mother.
If you’ll recall, Swift’s chart-topping single made headlines soon after it was released partly due to its catchy beat, partly due to the Blank Space music video in which Swift goes crazy... and largely due its one misunderstood lyric.
In the refrain to the track, Taylor sings about how she’s “got a long list of ex-lovers,” all of whom can confirm that she's "insane."
But many have mistaken these these words to be "lonely Starbucks lovers," an error Swift humorously acknowledged on Valentine's Day this year.
"Sending my love to all the lonely Starbucks lovers out there this Valentine's Day.....even though that is not the correct lyric," Taylor wrote back on February 14.
Now, many months later, it appears as Swift’s own family is on Team Starbucks Lovers.
Tweeted the superstar over the weekend:
"hahah it really does sound like Starbucks Lovers..." -my mom just now who is SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE Smh."
