The second half of The Bachelorette two-night premiere ended with a dramatic trailer focusing largely on Kaitlyn Bristowe's "big mistake" this season.
Spoiler alert: Kaitlyn slept with one of her suitors. Way too soon.
While The Bachelorette spoilers accurately predicted the ousting of Britt Nilsson and the return of Nick Viall, this latest controversy came as a shock.
"If the physical part of the relationship isn't there for me, that's the deal breaker," Bristowe, 29, says in the trailer, which later reveals that she had sex.
Sex she regrets, at least at this stage of one relationship.
"I don't understand it just happened," she continued. "I don't think I'm a bad person, and I'm not ashamed of myself. I just made a big mistake."
"One of those relationships went too far, too fast."
On social media, numerous fans and critics called out producers a preview they felt was bordering on slut-shaming The Bachelorette for her choice.
