Kim Richards may or may not return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season.
But now the reality star has an even more pressing issue on her hands:
She may or may not go to jail as a result of a drunken rampage a few weeks ago.
As previously documented in detail, Richards was arrested in mid-April after getting upset while watching one of her show's reunion specials.
She therefore drove over to The Beverly Hills Hotel, downed a great deal of alcohol, got booted from an on-site restaurant, locked herself in a bathroom and allegedly kicked a police officer upon being detained.
In the month since, Richards has cried on Dr. Phil, checked into rehab, requested to leave rehab and said she may return to rehab after her daughter's wedding in Mexico.
In other words: Kim is a mess. And the following news is unlikely to help matters.
The L.A. County District Attorney has charged Richards with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a cop.
Richards could be sentenced to over two years behind bars as a result of this incident.
Moreover, it’s hard to see producers bringing her back with such legal problems hanging over her head.
Then again, actually being in jail hasn't stopped Teresa Giudice from giving interviews and appearing on magazine covers.
So there may be public relations hope for Kim Richards yet!
