Last week, Kim Richards was arrested on a variety of charges after she made a drunken scene and then kicked a cop who tried to calm her down.
Needless to say, it wasn't the 50-year-old reality star's proudest moment, and fans and friends have expressed their concern for Richards' health and well-being.
Normally, this would be the time when a disgraced celebrity would check into rehab, but sadly, Richards is completely broke.
Fortunately, Dr. Phil feigns concern for a living, so when he interviewed Kim recently, he offered an all-expenses-paid trip to a top-notch addiction treatment facility.
Unfortunately, Kim is a self-destructive moron, and she turned him down.
“Dr. Phil offered to send her to rehab, and said he would take care of the expenses," says a source close to the show. "It was extremely generous and a facility was picked out by Dr. Phil. Kim was blown away by the gesture, but didn't agree to go."
And just like that, Kim Richards went from Real Housewives messed-up to Intervention messed-up.
A word of advice, Kim: Rehab is like a breath mint. If someone offers it to you, there's a reason for it, and you should accept.
