As seen below, Tom DeLay did not fare very well on Dancing with the Stars.
He did even worse today in a Texas courtroom.
The former U.S. House Majority Leader was sentenced to three years in prison, following his conviction in November of charges of conspiracy and money laundering. The allegations stem from DeLay's role in a 2002 scheme that funneled corporate money to Texas candidates.

During a statement to the judge prior to sentencing, DeLay reiterated his stance that the prosecution was politically motivated and said he never intended to break the law, sounding less than believable when he concluded:
"I can't be remorseful for something I don't think I did."
DeLay's attorney vows to appeal the ruling.
