Linsey "Jade" Berardi, a reality star best known for appear on Season 12 of Bad Girls Club, was found dead today, Oxygen has confirmed.
She was 22 years old.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Linsey 'Jade' Berardi,’” the network said in a statement, adding that the circumstances of her passing are unknown. “Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts go out to her family, friends and fans."
Berardi’s relatives have asked for any donations to be sent to animal shelters, as Linsey was a passionate animal lover and advocate.
Berardi (dubbed the “Brooklyn Beat”) departed the Bad Girls Club mansion after the second episode, but her former co-stars still posted messages of mourning online today.
"I pray that the news is not true but if it is I send my condolences to Lindsey’s family and friends #BGC12,” Tweeted Loren “Lo” London on Twitter, while Jada Cacchilli added:
"However she was taken, I pray it was a peaceful depart. We may not have been friends BUT we shared an experience most will never have or truly understand…"
