Carrie Underwood has one very good reason to sing one very happy tune right about now:
She just gave birth to her first child!!!
The multiple-time Grammy winner and former American Idol champion made the announcement today via Facebook, posting a photo of her little boy and announcing his name to millions of excited followers.
"Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born February 27," Underwood wrote along with the picture below.
Excuse us while we melt into a thousand little pieces...
Underwood told People last month that she's been trying to enjoy every aspect of her pregnancy, even the startling image she seems in the mirror each day.
“The whole process itself is really beautiful," she gushed. "Even when I feel pretty large, it really is such a miracle and such a beautiful thing."
Underwood is the second American Idol victor to welcome a bundle of joy in the past few months.
Kelly Clarkson became a first-time mother herself last year upon giving birth to a daughter named River Rose.
