None other than Lady Gaga performed the most talked-about musical number from Sunday's 2015 Academy Awards, and the pop star did not disappoint.
Gaga sparkled literally and figuratively as she belted out tunes from The Sound of Music on its 50th anniversary, captivating the Dolby Theatre audience.
Watch her amazing performance below if you missed it:
As Julie Andrews, The Sound of Music's original star, took the stage to present the award for Best Original Score, she thanked "dear Lady Gaga" for her rendition.
"It really warmed my heart, it really did," Andrews said.
Pretty impossible to beat that as far as praise, right?
Perhaps even more impressively? Twitter was too busy tripping over itself to lavish praise on Gaga that it stopped making jokes and memes for five minutes!
John Legend's "Glory" had the crowd inside the 2015 Academy Awards in tears, but it was Gaga's tribute to The Sound of Music that set social media blaze.
Crooning everything from the film's titular song to "Climb Every Mountain," the 28-year-old, who just got engaged to Taylor Kinney, was a true knockout.
Seriously. The woman has RANGE!
From Kate Upton to Steve Martin, Debra Messing to Lisa Vanderpump, and from celebr to regular folks alike, everyone went Gaga for Gaga last night.
